A private investigator has shared an update about what unusual items he discovered in a mansion that singer D4vd was residing in.
The music star – real name David Anthony Burke – has been under intense scrutiny since the remains of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 15, were found in a Tesla belonging to him.
The grisly discovery was made on 8 September after a ‘foul smell’ began radiating from the boot of the vehicle, which was impounded at a Los Angeles tow yard at the time.
Police later said her body had likely been left to rot for ‘several weeks’ before it was found.
D4vd, 20, was touring the US at the time to promote his debut album, Withered, although his remaining performances were then seemingly cancelled.
A spokesperson for the New York-born artist said previously: “D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. He is fully cooperating with the authorities.”
Despite the case gaining global attention and cops tirelessly trying to find out what happened to Celeste, there has been little progress so far.
D4vd has not been named as a suspect.

The teenage victim at the centre of the case hails from Lake Elsinore in California and disappeared when she was 13-years-old. According to a missing person flyer, she was last seen on 5 April, 2024.
Amid the ongoing police probe into the strange circumstances surrounding Celeste’s death, the owner of a Hollywood Hills mansion that D4vd previously rented hired a private investigator to take a closer look at the property.
Steve Fischer was brought in by the landlord, who reportedly leased the home to Josh Marshall, who is D4vd’s manager at Interscope Records, according to ABC7.
Last month, it was reported that D4vd had suddenly broken the lease on the four-bedroom pad, which is worth approximately $3.6 million.
Fischer explained that the homeowner had enlisted his help as he wants ‘to understand exactly what may have happened and if his house played a role in any way’.
Fischer shared some details of his findings over the last three weeks, and multiple outlets reported that he had claimed to have stumbled across ‘several items of evidence’.
The private investigator was alleged to have suggested that he found tools that ‘you’d never need in a Hollywood Hills home’, which he deemed would be more suitable for use on a farm.

However, Fischer has since clarified his comments on social media, claiming that the press had misquoted him.
In a post on X, he wrote: “There’s a false quote circulating claiming that I referred to items found in the house as ‘heavy tools’ or ‘farm machinery’ or something to that effect. I never said that.
“What I said was, ‘There were items in the house that would serve no purpose at a home in the Hollywood Hills, they are items you’d typically find on a farm or in a farm-type environment‘.”
A social media user then urged Fischer to ‘just tell us what you saw’, while asking him why he was ‘withholding information’.
He then responded with a cryptic answer, which read: “Because the information wasn’t meant for you. It was meant to let certain people know that I know.”
The PI – whose individual inquiries are not connected to the police probe – said he would not get into the specifics of his findings at the Hidden Hills home to avoid interfering with the official investigation.
Although authorities have said that Celeste was in a state of ‘severe decomposition’ when she was discovered, an official cause of death has still not been established. The investigation continues.
