Unbelievable Secret Sets at Glastonbury Spark Frenzy as Full Lineup Drops—Who’s Really Playing?
June’s rolled in, and with it comes the glorious uproar of festival season—Glastonbury, the undisputed crown jewel, is almost here. Now, we all saw the full lineup dropped back in March, but with stage times just announced, fans are buzzing with whispers of secret sets popping up like surprise Easter eggs in a blockbuster film. Could ‘Patchwork’ really be Mumford and Sons incognito? Or maybe Lady Gaga’s back from her 2009 hiatus to steal the spotlight once again? The excitement is palpable, especially since the festival tweaked ticket sales and hiked prices—so those hush-hush performances might soothe a few bruised egos (and wallets). With headline acts like The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo leading the charge, plus some tantalizing TBA slots, the vibes are set to be electric. We’re officially in June now, which for music fans will mean that festival season is nearly upon us, and Glastonbury is arguably the crème de la crème.
While the full lineup was revealed back in March, stage times have now been confirmed for the event later this month, and eagle-eyed fans have spotted some clues which they think suggest the possibility of secret sets.
The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo will headline the Pyramid Stage, with other highlights including Charli XCX, Doechii, Rod Stewart, Loyle Carner, The Prodigy and Wolf Alice.
Many fans were disappointed when the festival organisers made a significant change to the ticket-buying process while also increasing the prices. However, they may be appeased if their favourite band appears in secret on the last weekend of June.
Several slots at Glastonbury are still marked as ‘TBA’, with the BBC suggesting this could include big names such as Lady Gaga, Haim, Pulp, and Radiohead.

An unknown band, simply referred to as ‘Patchwork’ are also down to play on the main stage on the Saturday, and unless the 1983-founded band which tours pubs in Tamworth are about to enjoy a meteoric rise, then it seems likely it will be a far more well-known band masking their identity. Reddit rumours suggest that this could be Mumford and Sons.
The festival officially kicks off on Wednesday 25 June with a fireworks display in Somerset and fans will be hoping for a fantastic year, especially given the slightly less exciting rumours that the festival will take a ‘fallow year’ in 2026 to allow the farm land to have a proper rest.

There are even rumours that Lady Gaga could return for the first time since 2009 (Kevin Mazur/WireImage for Live Nation)
