It’s almost that time of year again where we watch celebrities humiliate themselves in the jungle for our entertainment on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
If you’ve ever watched a soap star struggling to swallow a kangaroo’s unmentionables and debated just how much money you would need to do the same, wonder no more.
It has been revealed how much the campmates receive for their stint in Australia with Ant and Dec, as the latest batch of celebs has been ‘revealed’ ahead of the new series of I’m A Celeb.
They include soap stars, rock royalty, a chat show icon, as well as a YouTube star.
Donning the red bodywarmer will be Shona McGarty from EastEnders, model Kelly Brook, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, comedian Eddie Kadi, former Lioness and TV pundit Alex Scott, chat show legend Ruby Wax, and Jack Osborne, the son of the late Black Sabbath star Ozzy.

They’ll be joined by soap star Lisa Riley, rapper Aitch, Irish model and presenter Vogue Williams, football influencer and YouTuber Angry Ginge, and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson.
According to The Independent, Coleen Rooney, wife of football ace Wayne, was rumoured to have bagged more than £1.5 million for her appearance last year.
Nigel Farage also got £1.5 million, while Noel Edmonds once received a staggering £600,000 for spending just one week in the jungle back in 2019.

Richard Madeley collected £200,000 for his appearance in 2022, Mo Farah £300,000, and Vernon Kay £250,000.
Caitlyn Jenner earned £500,000, while Coronation Street star Alan Halsall earned £75,000.
Some of the lesser-known campmates who use the show as a springboard to household name fame regularly take home around £50,000.
It’s bad news for celebs who can’t handle the pressure, though, as some outlets claim they need to stay in the jungle for a full 72 hours, otherwise they receive a reduced rate.

Danny Jones was crowned King Of The Jungle in 2024, following in the footsteps of his McFly bandmate Dougie Poynter, who also won back in 2011. Danny was believed to have earned between £150,000 and £200,000 for his stint.
Fans have been wondering whether bandmates Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd could also enter the jungle sometime.
Rochelle White, founder of Rochelle White Communications, told The Express: “In regards to McFly’s Harry and Tom, if they wanted to do the show, I do think it depends on a few factors and also how popular they are.”
She said they could ‘ask for more money due to the fact that the band will be going back on tour with Busted, which means increased popularity and interest’.
“In regards to payment, I would assume they could maybe be paid away £150,000 or more – but I do think that it would depend on other factors.”
She added: “I think ITV know and understand when they’re onto a good thing and like to continue and build on that.”
