“Unbelievable Twist: Why Tonight’s I’m A Celeb Champion Leaves the Jungle Empty-Handed!”
As the curtain falls on another wild season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, we gather to bid farewell to this year’s jungle antics. What’s the best way to celebrate the triumphs of our fearless (or perhaps just hungry) celebs? Well, by watching three stalwarts—Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, and Rev Richard Coles—face the public vote tonight (December 8) in a finale that promises to be anything but dull! But hold your applause, because it turns out that the crown doesn’t come with a cash prize. Who needs money anyway, right? For these ‘celebrities,’ the real reward seems to lie in their newfound status, fresh opportunities, and perhaps some impressive bragging rights! And let’s be honest—considering Coleen might have pocketed a whopping £1.5 million for competing, we’re curious: do they really do it for the money, or is there something more glamorous at stake? After all, the jungle may be harsh, but the spotlight sure is sweet! LEARN MORE.
After spending recent weeks watching celebrities struggle to swallow, live off rice and beans and face their fears, it all comes to an end tonight (December 8).
Yep, with just Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones and Rev Richard Coles remaining in the jungle, it’s the finale of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
But after going through all of that, whichever of the three finishes first in the public vote won’t receive a cash prize.
I mean, let’s be honest, with ‘celebrity’ status, do they really need to win a load of money for taking the jungle crown? Instead, they get the status, the bragging rights, and well, they’re all likely to be faced with fresh opportunities when they return to the UK.
As has been the same for the many, many past series of the ITV show, the star who comes in first place doesn’t receive an additional fee for taking part.
And the final three are certainly raking in a hefty amount anyway, with Rooney said to be the popular show’s highest paid star.
It’s widely rumoured the mum-of-four is earning an eye-watering £1.5 million for taking part in I’m A Celeb, with an expert previously saying she isn’t doing it for the money.

During the show, Rooney has made it pretty clear how much her kids want to see her doing the challenges – particularly last night’s Celebrity Cyclone, of course.
PR expert and Press Box PR’s Head of Talent Lynn Carratt said on behalf of Slingo: “I don’t believe for her it is about the money. She and Wayne already have enough money to last them the rest of their lives. Coleen built a successful career for herself in the past but she turned down a lot of opportunities when she became a mum.”
Carratt added that she will want to ‘make her family proud’ as well as ‘pick back up her career and develop it’.

Said to be the standard fee for someone of his profile, McFly star Jones is reported to be getting between £150,000 and £200,000 for participating this year.
Described as the show’s ‘surprising secret millionaire’, Coles is apparently doing pretty well for himself already.
The three finalists have survived quite the stint in the jungle now and whether they win or not, they have qualified to receive their fees.
That’s because, according to rumoured rules of the show, the celebrities must remain in camp for at least 72 hours to get their full fee and anyone who leaves before then will face cuts to their cash.
