Some, however, are saying it’s so heartbreaking they are struggling to even watch it.

The Breakthrough is a fictionalised account of real crimes that occurred, with names changed and creative liberties taken.
In 2004, Sweden was rocked after the brutal murders of Anna-Lena Svensson, 56, and Mohammed Ammouri, 8.
Ammouri was attacked on his way to school, with Svensson witnessing this and trying to intervene. Both were killed, and it took investigators 16 years to solve their murders.
The Breakthrough is on Netflix now.
