We enlisted the help of an AI named Midjourney to generate some images of what it believes we’ll look like a thousand years from now. Spoiler alert: the results are about as “normal” as you might expect from a machine that’s been fed a diet of sci-fi tropes and internet memes! Humanity is constantly changing and expanding, but what an artificial intelligence believes we will look like in the future is a little bit confusing to say the least.
The power of AI is certainly being realized by the everyday person, and this has sparked a whole host of new questions.
Even here at UNILAD, we have got a little bit curious about what the future holds, and have used AI to see what awaits humanity in the future.
Now, you will have to take it with a pinch of salt because… well, it is just a computer, but it is still fun to imagine all the same.
We decided to ask AI program Midjourney to mock up some pictures of what it reckons we will look like 1,000 years from now.
Unfortunately, it isn’t exactly what you would expect, as some of the images look downright disturbing.
