New footage has revealed what happened after a furious Marjorie Taylor Greene told a British reporter to ‘go back to her own country’ at a committee meeting.
The controversial Georgia representative, often referred to by her initials MTG, was answering questions from reporters when she became irate by the presence of a British journalist
More specifically, a non-American journalist daring to ask a critical question about the US government’s recent embarrassing Signal blunder, which saw a journalist get accidentally added to a government group chat discussing upcoming air strikes on Yemen.
The offending voice belonged to Sky News correspondent Martha Kelner, who began to ask the 60-year-old a question about US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth when MTG abruptly cut her off and asked: “What country are you from?”
Kelner then replied to confirm that she was British, which prompted the Greene to launch a shocking rant about foreign journalists.

“We don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting,” Greene said.
“Why don’t you go back to your country, where you have a major migrant problem,” she continued. “You should care about your own borders.”
Sky News has since released further footage from the explosive moment, which revealed Greene refusing to answer Kelner’s question, responding to a US reporter asking the same question by blaming the Biden administration before abruptly ending the press conference and storming off.
The confrontation then continues as a defiant Kelner refuses to back down and follows Greene down the corridor, pressing the issue by asking the congresswoman if Hegseth should be expected to resign after exposing US attack plans to a journalist.
“Absolutely not, he’s doing a great job,” Greene replied
Kelner then queried if Hegseth was really doing a ‘great job’ by putting the lives of US servicemen ‘at risk’, prompting Greene begin insulting Britain’s support for Ukraine.

This isn’t the first time which Greene has told a reporter to ‘go back to your country’, with MailOnline reporting that the Republican congresswoman made the shocking comment towards a British journalist in 2022.
Greene’s outburst comes weeks after Vice President JD Vance faced backlash for appearing to refer to the UK as a ‘random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years’.
Vance later claimed that he wasn’t talking about the UK, but didn’t clarify which nations we was referring to.
The Vice President again showed his disdain for the European continent in the controversial Signal group, writing ‘I just hate bailing Europe out again’ in one message.
