What Happened When This Teen Trained Only One Side of His Body for 182 Days Will Shock You

So, here’s a wild thought: in the endless jungle of social media, where every wannabe influencer is either flipping their coffee table or sparking drama to get noticed, what’s left to do if you want to actually stand out? Well, one 19-year-old—dubbed “the crooked king”—seems to have cracked the code by doing something so bizarre it’s borderline genius. Instead of chasing the typical shredded physique on both sides of his body, he’s been hitting the gym like a mad scientist… but only on one side. For half a year, he’s been pumping up just his left trap, left leg, and left bicep, turning himself into a walking optical illusion and racking up thousands of followers while he’s at it. Is this some kind of satirical jab at the whole “looksmaxing” culture, or just an absurd flex of creativity? Honestly, who knows—but it sure makes you wonder if asymmetry is the new symmetry in the quest for internet fame. Ready to dive into this off-kilter fitness experiment? LEARN MORE.

These days it seems that you have to do something either completely off the wall or controversial if you want to make a name for yourself on social media.

One lad has gone down the route of both and it’s seemingly worked for him, with the 19-year-old known as ‘the crooked king’ amassing thousands of followers on social media thanks to his idea of sharing his gym training videos.

You might be thinking, how is he any different from any of the other thousands of content creators sharing videos in the gym, or taking on carnivore diets like The Liver King so they can get in shape.

Well, this particular account is managing to get out of shape while getting in shape, as for around half a year now, he’s been sharing videos of himself training just one side of his body, and the results are pretty crazy.

We’ve been following the trap king’s journey pretty closely, and his left trapezius muscle is only getting bigger and bigger, giving his neck a very distorted and slanted look, in what the teenager describes as ‘looks minimising.’

He’s also seemingly well on the way with training his left leg and left bicep as well, going off his latest videos on the platform.

Why he’s putting his body through this remains unclear, but it’s clear to see the results he is having by completing so many shoulder shrugs and barbell deadlifts on his left side.

The content creator has previously explained exactly why he’s put himself through this challenge although it seems pretty clear that he’s using satire, so his true purpose remains unknown.

He said: “Why does the one trap guy work out one trap? It’s pretty simple. I was scrolling TikToks in my Ferrari, and I kept getting these looksmaxing TikToks.”

The ‘looksmaxing’ videos usually feature someone from the manosphere like Andrew Tate, telling young men that women will only find them attractive if they become a giant in the gym. Having some personality and not being a complete a*** helps as well, Mr Tate.

The trap king continued: “And they were like, ‘Do this, do that. You’ll look more attractive. You’ll get more women.

“And it’s like, people have that problem? I have the opposite problem.

“I get so many DMS, I don’t even have time to get through them all.

“So I was like, ‘If I have the opposite problem, then I need the opposite solution. What’s the opposite of looksmaxing? Looks minimising’.

“What was the best way to looksminimize? Become more asymmetrical.

“Work out one trap, it solved my problem. And man, it has worked like a charm.”

Well, I can’t speak for whether or not it’s solved the young lad’s ‘problem’, but there’s no doubt he’s looking more asymmetrical, and also pretty jacked, after around 182 days of training.

Given his commitment to the cause, you’d hope that he would be able to even himself out with a similar training method on his right side. Whether or not he plans to do that, is anybody’s guess.
