Cassie Ventura has spoken about being part of Diddy’s ‘freak offs’

Cassie has told a court at the trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs why she chose to take ketamine during his ‘freak offs’.

The musician is in court in New York and among those giving testimony is his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who he dated between 2007 and 2018, with the pair having met in 2005 when he was 39 and she was 19.

In November 2023, Cassie launched a lawsuit against Diddy alleging years of physical and sexual abuse.

Combs denied her allegations, but they settled the lawsuit the following day, and now she stands in court to testify about Combs’ behaviour including that of his infamous ‘freak offs’.

He stands in court accused of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy – charges which he has repeatedly denied – and could spend the rest of his life in prison if found guilty.

With Ventura providing testimony, the court has heard how she and Combs used drugs at the ‘freak offs’ as she explained why she decided to take ketamine.

During her testimony, Ventura said that Combs sent her a text saying he wanted to have a ‘proper FO’ as he told her he didn’t want to take ketamine for it.

Diddy allegedly wrote in a text: “You know we have to have a proper FO without no K … I hate K!!!!”

He told her ‘a successful FO is one we remember’, and Cassie told the court that the reason why she preferred taking ketamine during ‘freak offs’ was because it allowed her to disassociate from the experience.

“It took me out of it for too long. We’re just high and not doing any… intercourse,” Ventura told the court of her choice to take ketamine.

Cassie said that the only thing she enjoyed about the ‘freak offs’ was the time she spent with Combs, telling the court she felt like it was the only time she could have with him.

“I felt disgusting. I was humiliated. I didn’t have the words to put together at the time how horrible I really felt, and I couldn’t talk to anybody about it,” she said, giving testimony that she’d tried to talk to Combs about how she didn’t want to be part of the ‘freak offs’.

She said she ‘didn’t want to upset him or make him angry with me’, so she would ‘tread it lightly’ and sometimes email him about it instead.

The trial continues.
