Some days, you wake up and wonder—is the universe bored, or just has a really twisted sense of humor? Mount Etna, Sicily’s drama queen of a volcano, decided it was time for a show, spewing ash high enough to ruin the world’s best espresso and reminding everyone that Italy can’t even enjoy a siesta without getting a faceful of lava .
