Shocking Twist: Bill and Hillary Clinton Summoned to Testify in Explosive Jeffrey Epstein Probe

A host of high-profile figures in the US have been ordered to give evidence ‘related to horrific crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein’.

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary are among those who have received the shock subpoenas from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today (5 August).

The body, which investigates and oversees the operations and efficiency of the government, is bringing a host of big names in to answer questions in relation to the disgraced financier who took his own life in jail in 2019.

The House committee wants to get to the bottom of the Epstein case once and for all by digging into his past and former connections.

And it’s no wonder really, as it has been something of a circus over the last few weeks in wake of the FBI and Justice Department denying the existence of Epstein’s alleged ‘client list‘.

President Donald Trump has been continuously dogged by questions about his relationship with the sex offender, although he has insisted he ‘never had the privilege’ of visiting the infamous island where many of Epstein’s crimes took place.

It was revealed today that the committee’s Chairman James Comer has sent out subpoenas to the Clintons and eight other individuals.

Former US Attorney Generals Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Bill Barr, Merrick Garland, Jeff Sessions and Alberto Gonzales have been called to testify.

Ex-FBI Directors James Comey and Robert Mueller also received a subpoena – and it is hoped these ten people can provide some information which can help piece the complicated Epstein puzzle together.

As well as this, as the Trump administration previously said that no further files would be released in regards to the case, the committee has issued a subpoena to the Justice Department, too.

It requests ‘records related to’ Epstein to be turned over and orders for the ‘full, complete, unredacted Epstein Files’ to be provided ‘on or before August 19, 2025.’

The Clintons, on the other hand, have a little bit longer to prepare for their depositions, with Hillary’s being scheduled for 9 October.

Bill’s is set to take place on 14 October – and Comer has explained that he is keen to quiz the former commander-in-chief about his trips with Epstein and his friendship with Ghislaine Maxwell.

The chairman wrote in the subpoena to the ex-President: “By your own admission, you flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane four separate times in 2002 and 2003.

“You were also allegedly close to Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell, an Epstein co-conspirator, and attended an intimate dinner with her in 2014, three years after public reports about her involvement in Mr. Epstein’s abuse of minors.

“There are conflicting reports about whether you ever visited Mr. Epstein’s island.”

Bill Clinton has previously denied having any knowledge of any of Epstein’s crimes, while his spokesperson said he had not ‘spoken to Epstein in well over a decade’ back in 2019.

The cover letter sent by Comer goes on to say: “Given your past relationships with Mr. Epstein and Ms. Maxwell, the Committee believes that you have information regarding their activities that is relevant to the Committee’s investigation.”

Hillary, on the other hand, is set to be asked about her family’s ‘close relationship’ with both Epstein and Maxwell.

Meanwhile, the roster of ex-attorney generals and FBI directors will be grilled about their handling of affairs related to the Epstein case over the years.

It remains unclear whether those who have been subpoenaed will actually testify in front of the committee and, if so, whether the depositions will be publicised.
