Pro Wrestler Breaks Silence: Shocking Details Revealed After Brutal Attack by Former UFC Fighter’s Son

Well, here’s a real head-scratcher from the pro wrestling world—literally! When Raja Jackson, son of MMA legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, turned what was supposed to be a scripted showdown into an unscripted assault, it left everyone asking: in a business built on theatrics and choreographed chaos, how does a real punch change the game? The recent viral footage of Raja clocking Syko Stu repeatedly in the head not only ignited an uproar online but also sparked serious concerns after the wrestler was rushed to the hospital with severe facial injuries. What started as a staged event quickly morphed into a raw altercation that nobody signed up for, leaving us pondering the fine—and often fuzzy—line between performance and reality in the squared circle. It’s a saga full of punches, apologies, and the tough road to recovery, wrapped in a family drama that’s just too wild to ignore. LEARN MORE.

The pro wrestler who was attacked by the son of Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has spoken out for the first time since the viral incident.

Raja Jackson, 25, received backlash on social media after footage from a Knokx Pro Wrestling event live-streamed on Kick showed him punching Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, in the head multiple times.

Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp insisted that the pro wrestling match, which centres around predetermined and scripted outcomes, was supposed to be ‘planned’.

“However, Raja Jackson knocked the person out – ring name Syko Stu – and followed up with a lot of heavy punches to Syko Stu, which were not planned to do that kind of damage,” he said on X.

Sapp said that ‘Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries’.

A statement shared on his social media page on Sunday (31 August) revealed that ‘Stuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting’.

“He sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER,” it read. “His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth.

“He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.”

The statement, signed off by Smith and his wife Contessa Patterson, added that they ‘are deeply grateful for all the love and support we’ve received during this time’.

“Thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way—whether through monetary donations, food, flowers, or gifts. Your kindness means more than words can express,” they continued.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”

Raja is yet to comment on the incident, while his father, 47, said he was ‘very upset that any of this happened’.

In a statement shared on X, he condemned his son’s actions, suggesting that it all started with a prior altercation when Smith ‘hit in the side of the head’.

Before the attack in the ring, the wrestler picked up a beverage can and smashed it on Jackson’s head.

“I don’t play that s**t,” the MMA star said as other wrestlers stepped in between them. “I will f**k him up. I will f**k him up, bro.”

Meanwhile, Rampage said that his son ‘suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact’.

LADbible Group has contacted Raja Jackson’s representatives for comment.
