Newlywed Reality Star Thomas Skinner Reveals Shocking Secret Affair Mere Weeks After Saying "I Do"
What is it about newlyweds and chaos? Maybe it’s the champagne hangovers—or maybe it’s just… life. Well, imagine this: your marriage starts, you’re juggling three kids, a “Strictly Come Dancing” debut is circling around the corner, and then, boom—Thomas Skinner, the charming, loud-and-proud bloke from “The Apprentice,” drops the kind of confession that would make even a soap opera scriptwriter wince. If you’ve ever wondered whether honesty really is the best policy or if a two-week fling can nuke (then reboot) a marriage, Skinner’s tale is the sort of jaw-dropper that makes you want to hide your face behind a cushion—and then peek, just to see what happens next. This story has regret, redemption, public confessions, and, somehow, a couple that claims they’re “stronger than ever.” Is forgiveness a superpower, or is true love just madly resilient? Let’s pull back the velvet curtain and step into a very real, very messy modern love story. LEARN MORE.
TV star Thomas Skinner has admitted that he was unfaithful to his wife just weeks after they tied the knot.
The dad, best known for his stint on The Apprentice in 2019, has confessed that he cheated on his wife Sinéad Chambers shortly after their nuptials in 2022.
The couple, who share three children together, have said they are now ‘stronger than ever’ after working through their rough patch.
Ahead of his Strictly Come Dancing debut next week, Skinner, 34, decided to come clean about the ‘two-week fling’ he had three and a half years ago.
He announced that he had extramarital relations with an ‘attractive’ single mother who he met in a pub before she wooed him by ‘offering him cosmetic treatments’.
Describing the affair as the ‘biggest mistake of his life’, Skinner told The Sun: “I had a fling. It was nothing more than that. It was the one time, it was a mistake.
“I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife.
“I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had. I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”

The father-of-three, from Romford, said that he had braced himself for the fact that Sinéad may ‘never speak to him again’ when he revealed his betrayal to her.
He explained that he met the single mother – who is reportedly the boss of a beauty clinic – a short time after he got hitched to the ‘love of his life’ Sinéad in May 2022.
Skinner said she was left ‘distraught’ when he told her he had ‘f***ed up’, but ultimately, she found a way to move past it.
“I’m so lucky she forgave me,” the smooth-talking businessman went on. “I’m a very, very open book and I don’t hide anything from my wife.
“She was obviously distraught, upset. Didn’t think I’d do that to her. When I told my wife, I fully understood if she was to never speak to me again.
“No one else made me do what I’ve done. But it just shows something so brief could ruin your life.”
Skinner said the aftermath of the affair was a ‘very, very dark time’ in their relationship, which was compounded by the grief he felt for his pal who had passed away.

He said his late friend – known as Big Mark – had died the day before he was unfaithful and that he was in a ‘mad headspace’ when he stepped outside of his marriage.
“She’s the person I adore more than anything in the world,” Skinner said of his wife. “And I let her down. I’m ashamed. She didn’t deserve it. I was a selfish person.”
The former market trader said that he has shared his story with fans to show people that your mistakes don’t have to define you.
“The best advice I can give anyone is to be honest and own up,” he continued. “Because we are in an incredible place now. We are strong. It’s forgotten about.
“We’ve got over that terrible part of our relationship, which I made happen. It wasn’t down to her. She didn’t do anything wrong. We wasn’t arguing.
“It was just me in a moment of madness. I never thought it would ever happen. It will definitely never happen now.
“My wife is the most beautiful woman I’ve seen in my life. I don’t know why she’s with me.”

Skinner said he doesn’t fear falling victim to the so-called ‘Strictly Curse‘ which has rocked the relationships of many contestants on the dancing show.
The tabloid term refers to romances blossoming between the celebrities and their pro-partners during filming, whether either parties are already taken or not.
But for Skinner, the idea of this is ‘ridiculous’ – and he is on his last straw with Sinéad anyway.
“I’d never get a second chance with my wife, so I’ll never let her down again,” he added. “She’s really proud of me.
“When we filmed the opening show, I kept looking over and saw her smiling and thumbing up. My wife is just the kindest, most loving person I know.
“She’s the best mum to our children. We are just enjoying life, enjoying our children.”
The woman who allegedly had an affair with Skinner denied their fling via a spokesperson, who claimed she ‘had a relationship with him and was deceived’ by the London star and ‘then treated appallingly’.
