David Harbour Makes Surprise Appearance at Millie Bobby Brown’s Birthday Bash—Are the Rumors Finally Put to Rest?
Is it just me, or does real-life drama start feeling eerily like the Upside Down when the rumor mill starts spinning? For months, headlines buzzed with whispers of “pages and pages” of accusations—and no, not the kind that give ‘Stranger Things’ its signature chills. Yet here we are: David Harbour, sipping punch and munching birthday cake at Millie Bobby Brown’s very own celebration, surrounded by former Hawkins alumni and not even a Demogorgon in sight. One can’t help but wonder—are on-set rifts just another episode in the never-ending Netflix binge that is celebrity culture, or is this what closure really looks like? Whatever your take, seeing Hopper and Eleven swapping party hats instead of heated words practically scripts itself as the plot twist we never saw coming . To deep-dive into the whole saga—allegations, investigations, reconciliations, and who did (or didn’t) score an invite—LEARN MORE.
David Harbour has been spotted at Millie Bobby Brown’s birthday party months after a reporter ‘bullying’ rift on the Stranger Things set.
It was reported by the Daily Mail in the build-up to the highly anticipated final season of the huge Netflix hit that Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven in the show, had made accusations against Harbour, who plays her adopted father Jim Hopper.
It alleged there were ‘pages and pages’ of accusations made by Bobby Brown against the 50-year-old. The specific claims were not detailed and no sexual impropriety was reportedly alleged.
An internal investigation by Netflix reportedly lasted ‘for months’ and Brown allegedly ended up accompanied by a personal representative on set for Stranger Things’ final season, but they then seemingly put the rumours to bed when appearing at the premiere for Season Five together.

Speaking to Deadline, she said: “Of course I felt safe. I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on that set.
“You naturally just… you know, you’ve been doing it for so long. We also play father and daughter so naturally, we have a closer bond than the rest because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season 2.
“David and I have a great relationship, we work really closely together in the scenes and preparing for the scenes and I really am excited to see… for everyone to see the labour of love and hard work we’ve put into the closure of our relationship and what that looks like.”
And while Hopper had to say goodbye to Eleven during the show, as she sacrificed herself to help destroy the Upside Down in a finale that seriously split opinion among the fanbase, it seems as if the two are still close friends in real life, as he was spotted at her 22nd birthday party this week.

TMZ captured pictures of the American actor in attendance, while other Stranger Things alum including Jamie Campbell-Bower (Vecna) and executive producer Shawn Levy were also present for the celebrations.
Unless the Conformity Gate rumours do magically turn out to be true, we won’t be seeing Jim Hopper and Eleven on screen ever again, but it seems as if the ‘bullying’ allegations didn’t have any weight to them, and the two remain close friends.
Harbour previously told Entertainment Tonight: “I adore her, and I’ve been proud to watch all them grow up and become great artists. I doubt it will be the last time we’ll see each other in this world or work together.”
The Duffer Brothers meanwhile, didn’t scoop an invite to the party, or at least weren’t seen there, perhaps because of an ending where they killed off Bobby Brown’s character and essentially nobody else?
