Did Trump Just Pocket $60 Predicting His Own Strike on Iran?
Have you ever scrolled through the news and wondered, “Wait, did the President just win more on a whim than I did with my entire March Madness bracket?” Because, well, same . There’s something strangely hypnotic about the thought of Trump hunched over his phone, betting real cash on whether or not he’ll drop bombs—like if international conflict were the Super Bowl and he’s the only guy who can actually throw the pass as well as call the play . Absurd doesn’t even cover it . My brain did a double-take—I mean, what kind of world are we living in where the Commander-in-Chief’s ‘gut feeling’ isn’t just shaping policy, but it’s profitable? Sometimes I think politics should come with a Vegas residency . All the tactical tension and none of the dress code . When Trump jokes about his “beginner’s luck,” I can’t decide whether to laugh, cringe, or google the odds myself . If only world events came with a risk-free bet … If you’re itching for more of this surreal (and let’s face it, darkly hilarious) spectacle, you’re definitely going to want to LEARN MORE.

WASHINGTON—Saying he just had a “gut feeling” about the U.S.-backed airstrike, President Trump announced Monday that he’d won $60 on Kalshi after betting that he would bomb Iran. “The odds were against me, but somehow I just knew that betting on an airstrike ordered by the president of the United States would hit,” said Trump, who added that when he initially placed a $20 wager online that he would authorize a war leading to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he had no idea it would pay off as much as it did. “Call it intuition or beginner’s luck, but this was the easiest $60 I’ve ever made. I don’t even think I’m going to cash it out. For some reason, I’ve got this feeling I’ll make even more putting it into a three-way parlay that I’ll bomb Palestine, Afghanistan, and Syria next.” At press time, Trump had called for a ban on prediction market platforms after he lost his entire bitcoin wallet on a bet that the U.S. would emerge victorious from the conflict.
