Baba Vanga’s Unbelievable 2026 Forecast: Which Shocking Prophecies Have Already Come True?
Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian granny who’s been dead for three decades, apparently got a couple of 2026 predictions spot on—and now folks are scratching their heads, wondering if the rest of her eerie forecasts might actually come true. She called natural disasters hitting the planet, and lo and behold, Venezuela endured two devastating earthquakes, while Chile battled fierce wildfires—all the while, droughts and unbearable heatwaves keep living up to her doomsday vibes. But here’s the kicker: this year might also see humanity facing down AI backlash, alien spaceships crashing our party, and maybe even a global war brewing on the horizon. Is Baba Vanga just lucky, or do we seriously need to start prepping for interstellar diplomacy and robot rebellion? Either way, buckle up—it’s gonna be a wild ride. LEARN MORE.
The infamous future-predictor Baba Vanga apparently got a couple of calls for 2026 right, which has people wondering whether her other predictions for the year might be true.
The blind Bulgarian grandmother who made a bunch of predictions has been dead for 30 years, but there are some who still put great stock in her words.
A couple of Baba Vanga‘s predictions for this year have come true, as the blind Bulgarian said there would be natural disasters visited upon this world.
2026 saw two catastrophic earthquakes in Venezuela on 24 June, one 7.2 and the other 7.5 in magnitude. It’s estimated more than 6,000 people died, with 61,000 requiring treatment in hospital.
The World Bank estimates the damage could total $20 billion.
At the start of the year, Chile also bore the brunt of serious wildfires in the BiobÃo and Ñuble regions. 21 people were killed, and tens of thousands were forced to evacuate.
Since Baba Vanga didn’t specify exactly when and where the droughts were set to occur, it was unlikely her prediction would be proved wrong – more so recently with the effects of climate change.
Droughts, incredibly unbearable heats and weather events which are tipped to make things even worse in the future all make for a vindication of Baba Vanga’s doomsaying.

Another one people like to credit her with is predicting the rise of AI, even though she died years before it existed.
Apparently she said this would be the year humanity realised it had gone ‘too far’ with artificial intelligence.
What else has Baba Vanga predicted for 2026?
As for her other big calls for what’s supposed to happen in 2026, she says this is the year an alien spaceship arrives and thinks humanity’s first contact will happen no later than November.

Alright, Baba, we’ll see about that one in a few months.
Another one of her big calls is that we might be getting World War Three this year, which is not a fun thing to imagine happening. Both she and Nostradamus have predicted this one, as the old woman implied there’d be some ‘global wars’ going on in 2026.
Russia continues to try and invade Ukraine, which it’s yet to succeed at, while the US and Israel are at war with Iran in a conflict which has had global consequences.
That’s not quite what either of them said, but this is where the art of prediction is great at stretching ambiguous language from the past to fit the events of today and reverse-engineer the idea that someone knew this was all going to happen.
It’s also been claimed that she prophesised World War Three would start last year, as she is claimed to have said: “In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West.”
That didn’t happen, did it?
As far as someone who died 30 years ago is concerned, we’re on the cusp of the planet turning against AI, meeting aliens and having a new global conflict.
