A worried US football fan who went viral for her exceptionally good looks has revealed all the strange DMs she’s received since being identified.

Earlier this week, University of Mississippi’s Ole Miss Rebels American football team clinched a win over Louisville Cardinals, a match which has become a footnote in the news after a nervous Ole Miss fan won over the hearts and minds of the internet.

The woman in question has since been identified as Sara Smith, who has received a flurry of messages from thirsty admirers in response to her newfound fame.

Taking to TikTok last night to share some of her personal favourite DMs, Sara revealed that she’d received dating credentials as well as offers to buy her expensive, designer items and even a trip to her local Whole Foods.

“God fearing. 6’1. 260. Business owner. 500K take home annual,” read a message from one person, whose username and profile photo had been hidden.

“Thank you for the credentials,” Sara said in response to the message.

The next DM was from a person offering to pick up ‘anything’ for her from Whole Foods, to which she replied: “I’ve never gotten this before. But I love Whole Foods, though.”

The offers of gifts didn’t end at Whole Foods, as the next DM Sara shared included an offer to purchase her a designer bag from Paris and a request to know what her favourite brand was.

“I like Louis Vuitton,” she said in response.

Some more pointed messages from thirsty followers included a request for her to ‘bankrupt’ them as well as one person asking: “Let’s make [babies].”

Who is Sara Smith?

Little is known about Sara Smith other than the fact that she is an alumna of the University of Mississippi and lives in Tennessee, according to her Instagram bio. Meanwhile, she has also posted several TikToks about being engaged, which means that everyone sending thirsty DMs can pack it up and go home.

Sara isn’t the first and certainly isn’t the last person to achieve internet fame from a well-placed camera at a sports game, as we’ve seen a number of people achieve internet notoriety the exact same way.

One of the most famous examples is Muhammad Sarim Akhtar, whose exasperation while watching the Pakistan cricket team back in 2018 meant that he is now synonymous with the phrase ‘disappointed sports fan’.

Meanwhile, recent World Cups have seen spectators in the stands find themselves at the centre of viral fame, with Croatia’s Ivana Knoll, Turkey’s Udi Neco and England’s Tango all being examples which spring to mind.

And it’s no secret that viral fame can come with a hefty payday too – take the ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl and ‘Ibiza Final Boss’, for example.

Haliey Welch, 24, from Tennessee, was suddenly everywhere after popping up in a Tim and Dee TV street interview in 2024.

When asked what makes a man ‘go crazy’ in bed, she said: “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang!”

Since then, Welch – who previously worked in a bedspring factory – has done everything she can to capitalise on her viral fame: from merchandise to inking a deal with streaming platform Kick and launching a podcast called Talk Tuah.

She even cameoed in Glen Powell’s TV show Chad Powers and launched crypto coin $HAWK, which crashed hard and many of her fans accused of being a scam.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, she’s worth around $500k.

One dodgy haircut catapulted Kay, 26, from Newcastle, into viral infamy after he was filmed at Wayne Lineker’s O Beach Club in Ibiza last year.

Previously working in the construction industry, Kay has since signed a deal with fashion brand boohooMAN, appeared at Creamfields, starred in a Channel 4 documentary, reportedly made £60,000 from personal appearances, and released music in partnership with Carnao Beats.

In an unlikely twist, in June 2026 he stepped into the boxing ring with rapper and social media star Jordan McCann on the undercard for Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall, with Kay coming out on top.

According to Metro, he’s now worth a cool £2 million.
