Amanda was only 7 years old when she first started acting. She landed a role in the Nickelodeon variety sketch show All That and catapulted to fame at the age of 13. She later starred in her own comedy series The Amanda Show.
She moved to the big screen in 2002 with her first feature film Big Fat Liar when she was 15. She then took on more mature roles and quickly made her way up the rom-com ladder.
