Before all of the blockbuster films and television shows, Daddario branched off into her prosecutor lawyer mother’s line of work (in a way). From 2005 through 2009, the actress appeared in multiple episodes of Law & Order.
While she wasn’t necessarily the lawyer in the episodes, she was technically in a courthouse!
Soap Opera Start
Law & Order was not Daddario’s first taste of the spotlight, though. Her first project actually came when she was 16 years old. From 2002-2003, she played the role of Laurie Lewis on the soap opera All My Children.
The part was only supposed to last one episode, but the director was so impressed by Daddario’s acting chops he made her a reoccurring character.
Moving On From Big Blockbusters
She’s done a lot of work throughout the years, particularly in 2020 and 2021. In those two years, Daddario has been making a name for herself as a more serious actress who doesn’t just work on blockbusters and independent pictures.
Even dabbling in voice work for animated pictures, Daddario has branched out with her craft.
She’s Starring In A New Romeo And Juliet Adaptation
Daddario stayed busy in 2020 and 2021. She filmed not one, not two, but four movies, including an updated version of Shakespeare’s beloved play Romeo and Juliet, called Die in a Gun Fight.
