Drake fans are continuing to raise eyebrows worldwide with their shameless demands for money at the rapper’s live shows.
The ‘God’s Plan’ singer is currently performing his Anita Max Win Tour in several cities across Australia and New Zealand and people can’t believe some of the frankly ‘dystopian’ requests made by fans in attendance.
Following reports of Drake gifting tens of thousands to a newly engaged couple and moving a pregnant woman to the VIP area, an image of multiple fans pleading with their Papi to bestow holidays, cars and paid off vet bills upon them went viral on social media.
And people weren’t impressed by the scenes.

Despite the negative backlash, Drake fans haven’t been deterred from securing the bag, with a new clip showing a fan engaging in a quick game of rock paper scissors after spotting a sign reading: “Rock-paper-scissors to buy my dad a birthday car.”
Watch the bizarre interaction below:
While the fan was bested by the singer but didn’t come away empty handed from the exchange, as Drake still pledged $20,000 to the car fund.
The interaction has divided users online, with one person saying the signs were ‘getting out of hand now’ while others questioned if the rapper even had genuine fans.
“He is literally buying fans at this point. It’s all PR and a gimmick to look like a good guy. If he genuinely did care he wouldn’t have to do stunts like this in public or in music videos and support local charities and communities on the low,” a second person added.
However not everybody took a cynical approach to the interaction, with others pointing out that most of us would do the same if given the opportunity.

“I mean it’s not everyday you have a rich person in front of you just handing out bands. If you have the chance for your life to change, why not,” they wrote, while a fourth person praised the singer for sharing his cash, adding: “How do people hate this man?? He’s so funny & kind.”
It’s also worth noting that handing out wads of cash to fans isn’t anything new or out of the ordinary for Drake, as the singer has a long history of being publicly charitable.
In previous years the singer has gifted $100,000 to a fan who recently completed chemotherapy treatment, as well as doling out $20,000 and $30,000 sums to fans who’ve driven a long way to see him, finished college or looking to quit their job on the regular.
