She married a star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Over the years, Jennifer Grey has been romantically linked with a number of famous faces: as well as Matthew Broderick, Grey has also dated Michael J Fox, Johnny Depp and ABC journalist George Stephanopoulos. Then in 2000, Grey began dating actor Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agent Coulson).
They were wed July 21, 2001 by Gregg’s father Robert, an Episcopal minister, in a Martha’s Vineyard beach ceremony with famous guests including Felicity Huffman and Michael J Fox. Their only child Stella was born soon afterwards in December 2001. 20 years later, however, the pair divorced amicably.
As well as continuing to act (with recurring roles on TV’s Red Oaks, Grey’s Anatomy and The Conners), 2022 saw Grey publish her autobiography, entitled Out of the Corner – a play on Patrick Swayze’s famous line from Dirty Dancing, “nobody puts Baby in a corner.”

As the title of the book would suggest, Grey seems at peace with the fact that Dirty Dancing is what she will always be remembered for – although, since Swayze died of cancer in 2009, she has admitted having regrets about the two of them never really making peace.
Grey remarked in a 2022 interview that if she could speak to Swayze one more time, “I would say, ‘I’m so sorry that I couldn’t just appreciate and luxuriate in who you were, instead of me wishing you were more like what I wanted you to be.’”
