Ever wonder what you’d do if you suddenly found yourself surrounded by a pack of wolves? Run screaming? Freeze up? Well, Shawn James took a totally different route — he sang his heart out. Because if singing’s the key to becoming pack leader, I might start practicing. Dive into this chilly, goosebump-inducing session that you—and the wolves—won’t forget anytime soon!

Folk singer Shawn James was on tour with his crew in Colorado when he was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to film a video in a wolf sanctuary. Jumping at the chance, he decided that he’d perform a cover of A.A. Bondy’s “American Hearts.”
It was a very cold and snowy day, so they only had time for one take. What happened shortly after Shawn started singing gave everyone goosebumps.
