Inside the Secret Lives of the Ultra-Rich: Shocking Tales from Luxury Hotels and Restaurants Revealed

So one day we got a phone call from some guy. He ordered ten pizza’s, no big deal as we get large orders from there now and then. We were told to deliver it to the top floor suite. Of course we had to tell them we’re not allowed to and can they meet us at the service entrance. Yea, he grumbled and huffed.

A few minutes later we got a call back from Jerry Jaeger (the president of the Hagadon Hospitality division and manager of the resort). He told my boss to please park at the service entrance and wait for a security guard to escort us up to the penthouse.

That’s when I met a gruff but really awesome guy that insisted on being called Auggie…..August Busch III, CEO of Anheuser Busch.

Nobody dared to cross Hagadon or Jerry before then or since. Leave it to a college dropout turned CEO or one of the largest beer companies to set them straight.

Well not a restaurant but I work in an Olive Oil store so not necessarily rich customers but at least upper middle class.

In the store, we have this chocolate balsamic vinegar and being in a suburban white town I usually get a lot of sexual comments I remember once this lady came in and was making some comments and it turned out she was the Mom of someone I went to school with.

However, sometime before Christmas this lady came in and spent a really long time. She was talking to me for a while how she left from NYC to come to this store. She has an apartment overlooking Central Park and she has another house in California. She wasn’t necessarily bragging but she was telling me her life story haha. From this I figured she must be rich. However when all the other customers left it was just us and she started making some sexual comments concerning the chocolate balsamics but they were all subliminal. I just kinda laughed even though I felt really awkward, I’m 19 and she’s older than my grandma. Eventually she just blurred out “how much for me to take you back to the city with me for a couple days”. Then before I got the chance to respond a customer walked in and she just left. I told my coworkers and she has come back twice when I’m not working asking if was working and when is the next time I’ll be working. Honestly tho if she was willing to give big money I might do what I gotta do.
