In his whirlwind of a second term—kicking off just a week ago—Donald Trump is back in action, apparently hell-bent on making big waves as America’s 47th president. Since being inaugurated on January 20, he’s already put pen to paper on a slew of executive orders, proving that he hasn’t lost a step in his political dance. But here’s a thought to chew on: amid all these policies and proclamations, how involved was he in crafting the ultimate inauguration goodie bag? I mean, we’re talking about a swag bag that could only come from the “Make America Great Again” playbook, and it’s really piquing my curiosity! Donald Trump has wasted no time in making some big changes in his second term as president of the United States.

Following his inauguration last week (20 January), Trump has already signed a load of executive orders as America’s 47th president.

But more importantly, we want to know if he was involved in the goodie bag process beforehand.

VIP guests at the inauguration reportedly took home a POTUS gift bag and technology expert Kenny Manta (@superanonymousk) has taken to X to share what bizarre items were included.

“Being invited to the inauguration for @realDonaldTrump and @JDVance came with the perks of an amazing swag bag,” he penned.

It comes as no surprise that a presidential edition of Trump’s favourite drink was included in the goodie bag.

There was once rumours that he had a ‘Diet Coke’ button in his office in the White House, where a member of staff would present him with the drink when requested.

“Special-edition commemorative Diet Cokes, because RFK would flip if it was normal Cokes,” Kenny said.

Blanket and Towels

“A really nice blanket to feel the comfort and safety of America warming my body after years of darkness,” the tech wiz added.

“A thick face towel to help me wipe away all the dirt and grime that’s accumulated over the past four years.”

Pins

Kenny appears to be loving his next item, adding: “Two awesome pins that I’ll wear everywhere, already pinned on my sweater.”

Portraits

“Portraits to hang above my bed,” the apparent Trump enthusiast said as he shared one picture of the new POTUS, and Vice President JD Vance.

Letters

Next up, were ‘love letters from the Trump team’, joked Kenny.

I guess we have no reason not to believe him.

Mug

Kenny also received a black US president edition of a travel mug, which he’s probably going to use on his way to work.

“A brand new mug so I can taste freedom with every morning sip,” he wrote.

Lotion, chapstick and hand sanitiser

I can’t be the only one that hates the sight of hand sanitiser, a reminder of the dark Covid days.

“Lotion, chapstick and hand sanitiser to prevent any more pandemics,” he quipped.

Hand warmers

Perhaps the two most bizarre items in the gift bag were a double pack of hand warmers.

“Two packets of hand warmers so I can feel what it’s like to shake Donald Trump’s hands,” Kenny joked.

Bag

Kenny wrote: “A separate bag to hold all the stuff inside that swag bag.

“10/10 swag bag. Would vote again.

“Only thing that would have made this bag better is finding some $trump coins inside.”
