Jay Z’s Onstage Move With Beyoncé Sparks Wild Theories About Kanye West Feud

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when a headline-maker morphs into a living meme—and then keeps on spiraling—well, grab a snack. Kanye West (now rebranding himself as Ye Ye, because apparently reinventing yourself is easier than rewriting your past) has managed to turn the word “downfall” into an Olympic sport over the past few years . I mean, remember a time when his biggest scandal was stage-crashing Taylor Swift? Those were, dare I say, simpler days . Now, the drama is so unhinged it makes daytime soaps look like tranquil meditation tapes—antisemitic tweets, public meltdowns, two marriages down, and a deliciously public sparring match with Jay Z and Beyoncé thrown in for good measure .

And here’s a hot potato for you: Is it even possible to get “canceled” on X anymore, or do you have to actually try to break the internet—and decency? Jay Z and Beyoncé seem to have answered in the most public way possible, rewriting musical history on stage while giving Kanye the gentlest, shadiest erasure ever seen . It’s raw, it’s bizarrely funny, and it’s a little sad—like watching your uncle dance at a wedding after three too many vodkas . The pop-culture plot twists just keep rolling, and honestly, you can’t take your eyes off the trainwreck . LEARN MORE

I’m not normally one for following celebrity news, but it’s been difficult to ignore the downfall of Kanye West in recent years.

Ye, or Ye Ye, as he likes to be known these days, has become the true embodiment of the ‘your dad’s taking his divorce well’ meme after his split with Kim Kardashian.

In case you’ve made the sensible decision to be off X, you might have missed the 48-year-old’s vile antisemitic tweets which included claims that he ‘loves Hitler’ and that he is a ‘Nazi’, among other rants.

While he was able to find himself a new wife, Bianca Censori, he also reportedly split with her, not long after her X-rated stunt at the Grammys, but his outburst on social media was still a shock.

During that time, he also took aim at the kids of Jay Z and Beyonce, and now it seems as if the duo had their revenge, as they performed together for the first time in seven years at the Stade de France during Beyonce’s third Cowboy Carter Tour show in the French capital.

Jay Z sang N****s in Paris, which he famously released with Kanye back in 2011, but changed the lyrics as to avoid mentioning the rapper’s name.

During the rendition, fans noticed that Jay Z switched up the lyrics, rapping: “Gold bottles, scold models, Spillin’ Ace on my sick J’s. (Ball so hard) B***h, behave. Just might let you meet Bey’ – using his wife’s name instead of Ye’s.

Fans were quick to notice the subtle dig to remove Ye’s name from his own song, with some praising Jay Z for standing by his family following Ye’s sick posts on social media.

One wrote: “After the way Kanye talked about his kids, Jay is done with Ye for good.”

Another said: “You see he’s over Kanye & his mess he changed the lyrics.”

Although it’s seemingly impossible to get banned from X at the moment, given that people at the very top are spouting racist or homophobic views, Ye actually clarified that he’d removed his posts about the celebrity couple’s kids over fears that his account could be removed.

He said: “‘I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s family down… because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled.”
