Jeremy Clarkson’s acceptance speech at the National Television Awards (NTAs) was the most Jeremy Clarkson thing ever.

The Clarkson’s Farm star, 65, took to the stage alongside his cast members who won Best Factual Entertainment show on Wednesday (10 September) night.

Filming for season five of the popular Amazon Prime show is reportedly already underway ahead of an expected release next year.

Joined on stage by his partner Lisa Hogan, Clarkson joked: “I should explain I’m on Mounjaro, my trousers are falling down.

“Lisa’s going to hold my trousers up while I make a very short speech.”

In a bid to change his lifestyle, the former Top Gear host started taking weight-loss drugs after he underwent emergency heart surgery in 2024.

Now, continuing with his speech, Clarkson opted to rip into the well-known faces in the crowd.

“First of all, thank you very, very much to everybody at home who voted for us,” he added.

“We’re genuinely thrilled. And equally, there are those of us who farm here and we’ve scrubbed up so well you wouldn’t know it.

“But there are farmers, Caleb and Harriet and Charlie, and so on, and Gerald who isn’t here, who work incredibly hard.

“I mean, way harder than anyone in this room. And I do mean that.”

Clarkson then joked: “Even you, Lineker, really hard.”

Former Match of the Day host Gary Lineker broke the 23-year streak of Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly after picking up the TV presenter prize.

“And so I really want to thank the production team here, Connor and Pete and Vicki and Zoe, and so on, because they’re used to living in Shoreditch,” Clarkson went on.

“And they have to come out to the countryside and film us in the mud and the rain, way, way into the night, seven days a week.

“So, thank you so much to you guys, and Nick as well, really, really tremendous.”

Clarkson signed off his acceptance speech revealing that ‘we shall go and have a drink’.

Recently, The Farmer’s Dog owner opened up about the difficulties of running a pub after they were robbed of £27,000.

Clarkson renovated The Windmill barn near Burford and reopened it as The Farmer’s Dog in August 2024.

In his column for The Sun, he claimed that the pub was hit by the ‘same hackers who blitzed Jaguar and M&S’.

“But no one thought to mention that my pub, the Farmer’s Dog, has been hit too,” Clarkson wrote. “It was, though. Someone broke into our accounting system and helped themselves to £27,000.”
