Katie Price Breaks Silence After Peter Andre Throws Explosive Accusation

Here’s a question I never thought I’d ask in 2024: is there a statute of limitations on reality TV drama, or do we just layer it like a mille-feuille until someone finally gets bored enough for peace? Enter the Price-Andre family, who—if family feuds were an Olympic sport—are perennial gold medalists . Just when you think Princess Andre’s ITV docuseries, The Princess Diaries, might be the olive branch, it instead whips up a cocktail of confessionals, passive-aggressive Instagram stories, and more resentment than a celebrity roast. Katie Price and Peter Andre—once reality TV’s rosy-cheeked sweethearts, now star-crossed podcasters and Insta-sparring exes—find themselves back in the headlines, wrestling over parenthood narratives and “welfare” concerns, all while their daughter Princess spills her childhood tea on national television . Somewhere between heartfelt admissions and vague podcast allusions, Katie takes a sledgehammer to the “Saints and Sinners” mythos, leaving us to wonder—are we ever just watching a documentary, or always sitting ringside in a never-ending family grudge match? If you’re eager to peek behind the reality TV curtain (again), you won’t want to miss what’s next . LEARN MORE

Katie Price has seemingly responded to comments made by ex-husband Peter Andre over their children’s ‘welfare’.

The feud comes after the release of their daughter’s ITV docuseries, The Princess Diaries. As part of the series, Princess Andre, 18, opened up about her upbringing, the relationships she has with her parents, and her childhood in the public eye.

Price and Andre met on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! in the early 2000s before eventually getting married and having two children, prior to their split in 2009.

Price has previously voiced her discontent and not being included in her daughter’s new show, as Princess admitted she saw things in her childhood that ‘no kid should’, openly wishing it was ‘happier’.

Her mum reposted a quote on Instagram soon after, which stated that ‘your mom is not your enemy’, while the reality TV star also claimed on her podcast that ‘there’s no reason why both parents just can’t be there to support her’.

Andre then responded to Price’s claims about parenting in a long statement online, explaining: “The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.

“For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.”

He also spoke of a legally binding order to enforce this.

Princess said the feud between the two ‘doesn’t affect’ her, and all that matters is that she loves both her parents.

But Price has seemingly hit back at Andre’s comments in a long statement on her Instagram story, addressing some of her past controversies.

She wrote: “Saints and Sinners. As we know, in this life we are thought of as Saints and Sinners.

“I know I will always be seen as a Sinner. That’s fair, I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times, I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness.”

“I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I’ve self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love,” she admitted.

Price then confessed: “I’ve had my reasons – I was sexually abused when younger; had relationships that have been coercive; and my mental health issues – but I don’t want to make excuses. I’ve recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me.”

The 47-year-old said that she went into a ‘suicidal spiral’ at one point, fighting her way out for her children.

Price then moved on to ‘Saints’ and how there are two types.

“Some are genuine and some have helped me. But some Saints are not who they would have you believe they are,” she began.

“They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain.”

Price claimed: “Some Saints are fake. They play the victim and to succeed in life they need a villain…or at least a Sinner. Without the Sinner they don’t get to be the Saint…”

She then said she’s getting ‘bored’ with the latter type of Saints and even shows pity towards them, while encouraging ‘Sinners’ to keep improving.

While she doesn’t explicitly say who she’s talking about, the message is just the latest in The Princess Diaries saga.
