A couple from Florida once went viral after it was openly revealed that the mother would breastfeed her husband, as well as her children.

Rachel Bailey and her husband Alexander, both 32, have reflected on their 15 minutes of fame during an episode of My Strange Addiction in 2023.

In a video posted on their YouTube channel (@baileybunch) in March, the pair sat down to relive the moment their unique practice was unveiled to the world.

This was Alexander’s first time watching the show back in full, as Rachel admitted that they really weren’t ‘ready for this’.

Why Rachel would breastfeed Alexander

The mum insisted that it was not a ‘kink’, and started the habit in 2016 as a necessity when she forgot her breast pump on a cruise.

“When my eldest child, Troy, now seven, was breastfeeding, I went away on a cruise with Alexander. However, I forgot my breast pump and was badly engorged for two days,” she said at the time.

“I was in so much pain and I was scared about getting an infection, so we decided that my husband was going to try drinking the milk to relieve me.

“We were nervous about the idea of him breastfeeding from me as we thought it seemed weird, but as soon as we did it, we realised it was perfectly fine.”

Although Alexander stopped drinking his wife’s milk in 2023 after their youngest was weaned, she claimed that it had a whole lot of benefits.

She explained: “We realised there was nothing wrong with me breastfeeding him, and it would actually be good for him as it is so nutritious. He didn’t get a cold for two years after he started drinking my milk and so many people said his skin was so much better too.

“He ended up loving the taste of my breast milk and even prefers it to cow’s milk now.”

Although Rachel seemed pretty excited to watch it again, Alexander appeared to look a little taken aback.

“My thoughts are [that] it’s unreal. It’s like it didn’t happen, but it happened. It’s just wild. I don’t even know, I have no words,” the dad said.

Calling it an ‘out-of-body experience’, the pair admittedly weren’t able to sit through the whole episode.

“It’s funny to watch because it was an amazing experience but it feels like we didn’t do this, but we did this,” Rachel said.

Alexander also added: “It’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience, hence why we did it, it’s not something you would experience everyday, going on My Strange Addiction.

“Things are on and off, hot and cold, so once one thing’s gone, the next thing pops up so they move on with that. Nobody talks about it anymore, which is fine, it’s cool.”
