Netflix Is About to Remove the One Movie Critics Say You Absolutely Can’t Miss—Watch It Before It's Gone Forever

Ever have that sinking feeling when you realize a masterpiece has been hiding in plain sight, tucked away on Netflix, only to discover it’s disappearing just when you finally heard about it? Yeah, me too—it’s a bit like digging through your freezer, finding the tastiest dessert, and seeing “Expires: Tomorrow” stamped on top. Leave No Trace, a film with a staggering 100% Rotten Tomatoes score (beat that, Toy Story), is the cinematic equivalent of that last piece of pie. Somehow, despite coming out seven years ago, it’s managed to stealthily evade the mainstream radar—maybe it’s a method actor, or just really, really good at hide and seek. Now, with the platform’s monthly movie-purge looming, the clock’s ticking to experience all 119 minutes of this slow-burning, nerve-tickling thriller-drama. If you’re craving something you can both binge and brag about, this might be your last chance to join the exclusive club before the doors close. Ready to see what the fuss (and the flawless reviews) are about? LEARN MORE.

Netflix fans have been warned about missing out on one of the ‘masterpieces’ leaving the platform this month.

The film came out seven years ago, but its gone under the mainstream radar ever since, despite its impressive 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.

Its flawless score puts it in elite company among iconic titles such as Toy Story and The Terminator – in fact, this title sits atop the list.

Luckily, if you’ve never heard of it before, you’ll have until 30 June to whack it on Netflix and experience all 119 minutes of the thriller-drama.

As is routine, the streaming giant will be refreshing its titles at the close of the month, so if you’re a fan of being kept on the edge of your seat, this may be the movie for you.

It’s called Leave No Trace, and you can view the trailer, here:

The 2018 thriller stars American actor Ben Foster, best known for his roles in The Punisher and X-Men: The Last Stand, and Kiwi actress Thomasin McKenzie in her breakout role, as a father-daughter duo.

Directed by Debra Granik, the story follows Foster’s character, Will, a veteran who suffers from PTSD and chooses to live his life in an isolated environment in a forest in Oregon and his daughter, Tom.

Tom, who is played by McKenzie, lives with him – she has been taught forest survival skills by her father, as they rarely visit the nearby town.
