Princess Andre Reveals Childhood Encounters With Shocking Secrets No Child Should Witness
Ever wondered what it’s like to grow up with every embarrassing moment, heartbreak, and awkward selfie splashed across the internet for total strangers—and let’s be honest, a few weird old dudes—to ogle and critique? Well, Princess Andre doesn’t have to imagine. She’s lived it since she was barely out of diapers. If I had to relive my middle school years with an audience that vicious, I’d probably still be hiding in a locker. But Princess? She’s opening up—bravely and, frankly, hilariously at times—about her years in the harshest spotlight on her new ITV reality show. It’s not just about mean tweets or creepy DMs (though there’s plenty of that) . It’s about family messiness, public heartbreak, and that wild, thorny path to self-acceptance when internet trolls are rating your preteen legs. What’s it really like when your mum’s drama becomes front-page news—and you’re still learning long division? Buckle up: this is one coming-of-age story both deeply relatable and totally unreal. LEARN MORE.
When she was just a young child, Princess Andre was on the receiving end of disturbing comments.
The 18-year-old has opened up on her private life and childhood on her new ITV show, as she says she ‘saw things kids shouldn’t’.
Still getting sent ‘disgusting’ messages online nowadays, Princess was 17 when The Princess Diaries was being filmed and she was getting inappropriate requests from ‘old men’.
Her reality show has prompted a response from her mum, Katie Price, as well as an apology from her former stepdad, Kieran Hayler, as their split led to a particularly ‘dark time’.
“It was things kids shouldn’t see and when we needed our mum there, she wasn’t there because she had her own problems,” she said on the show.

But it wasn’t just the difficulty of watching her mum’s heartbreak play out (which Princess says she ‘fixed’ herself from) that troubled her childhood, but the trolling she was subjected to.
During her series, the influencer says the comments on her looks were coming from age nine and 10 as some apparently said ‘she’s the ugliest out of all of them’.
She recalls being just a child and people saying ‘Princess has no bum’ and ‘she’s so flat-chested’ or even screenshot images of her legs to say they’re ‘too skinny’.
“Reading that at nine years old, I cried. I actually cried,” Princess said.
“I don’t think people understand how one hurtful comment can affect you for years or a lifetime at such a young age.
“Everyone has things they don’t like about themselves, because I had a lot of comments at such a young age, that has affected me, now I can’t unsee what they’ve said.”
Supporting Princess fully, her big brother Junior said: “I think you’re a beautiful person inside and out.”

As the series began this week, Princess revealed how her mum’s split from Hayler saw ‘everything go downhill’.
“I’m not healed or fully recovered from it but mum has fixed herself compared to how she was back then,” she admitted.
“She spoke to me about it and she apologised and I never wanted an apology but it was a lot that she acknowledged it and she realised she needed to prioritise us, we now talk a lot and she is now my best friend.”
Meanwhile, Price has since shared a post to her Instagram Story that read: “Your mom is not your enemy.”
