Zendaya decided to be Spider-Man for a night, wearing a gorgeous red and black sequined gown by Armani Privé for the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The dress was definitely a statement piece and, according to Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, “If she was Spider-Man, this would be her suit.” She even dyed her hair red in a very MJ fashion.
In the film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, actress Margot Robbie took on the role of Sharon Tate. During the film screening at the Cannes Film Festival, Robbie decided to make a nod to the actress, wearing her hair in Tate’s iconic style.
The style consisted of loose face-framing braids, a look Tate wore at the same festival back in 1968.
During the premiere of Darren Aronofsky’s Mother!, actress Jennifer Lawrence took a very literal route to pay homage to her character. Looking exactly like the film’s promotional poster, Lawrence wore a dove-grey gown.
She didn’t miss a beat either, opting for a tousled updo with flowers woven through the strands, a nod to the flowers framing the poster image.
Maleficent would have been proud of Angelina Jolie’s outfit for the 2019 premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The black chain metal-looking Versace gown was reminiscent of Jolie’s character.
