The Boeing 727 formerly owned by Jeffrey Epstein is still brimming with a bizarre array of items a decade after it was abandoned.
The exterior of the disgraced financier’s swanky private jet appears to have paid the price after it was left to rot at the Stambaugh Aviation facility in Brunswick, Georgia, for the last ten years.
And apparently, the inside of the aircraft isn’t much better either.
Nicknamed the ‘Lolita Express’, prosecutors said the plane was used by Epstein to traffic his young victims across the world. Various high profile figures have been pictured catching a ride on the notorious aircraft.
It was kitted out with a bedroom, a kitchen, two bathrooms and three different sitting areas – but it hardly resembles a lap of luxury these days.
Instead, its more of a museum which has immortalised aspects of Epstein’s final journeys on the Boeing 727, before he subtly sold the Lolita Express in December 2018 prior to his arrest.
As well as being overrun by ‘insects and mildew’, according to the New York Post, there are a range of ‘disturbing’ items that have been left lying around the plane.
It’s supposedly equal parts disgusting too, as reporter Georgia Worrell told how she was greeted by a ‘nose-curdling musty stench’ when she stepped onboard the Lolita Express to explore Epstein’s former plane.
After climbing onto the jet, Worrell stumbled across an array of monogrammed paper towels that featured the tail number of the sex offender’s plane as well as his initials.
Then, she discovered a bottle of baby powder as well as other toiletries under a sink in the ‘main bathroom’ on the Lolita Express.
Worrell told how she went on to find ‘dirty towels, mouldy shaving cream cans, used toothbrushes and orange-and-yellow hair ties’ strewn around.
The impact of leaving the Boeing 727 fall into disrepair for a decade is also evident in the bedroom onboard the aircraft.
A decaying duvet covering the bed has reportedly been infiltrated by various bugs. A pair of glasses were seen resting on an adjacent bedside table.

Worrell then opened the top drawer of the nightstand, explaining she had found a ”disassembled satellite phone hidden’ in there.
One of the seating areas was decorated with red crushed velvet, according to Worrell, while another was lined with mirrored walls.
Each of them features various couches and armchairs. In the kitchen, there’s also a long wooden table.
According to The Post, the jet – which is almost 60 years old – was stripped of its trio of engines back in 2016.
As a result of this and how much it has deteriorated over the last decade, it will never fly again.

The owner of the yard where Epstein’s plane was abandoned told the publication it was initially supposed to get ‘cut up’ and scrapped. It is unclear why this didn’t go ahead.
UK cops are currently assessing information which came to light in the recent release of files related to Epstein, which suggest he arranged private flights to and from Stansted Airport to ‘fly in girls from Latvia, Lithuania and Russia‘.
Former prime minister Gordon Brown claim the documents show hoe Epstein’s jet made 90 flights to or from UK airports, including 15 after his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a child.
In an article for the New Statesman, he claimed that Epstein ‘boasted’ about how cheap the airport charges were in Stansted compared to Paris.
Brown said that the airport in the south-east of England was where ‘women were transferred from one Epstein plane to another’.
A spokesperson for Essex Police then confirmed that the force were looking into the ‘information that has emerged in relation to private flights into and out of Stansted Airport’.
