Shocking Discovery: Amy Bradley’s Mysterious Appearance on Sex Worker Website Seven Years After Vanishing
Amy Bradley vanished mysteriously over 27 years ago during a Royal Caribbean cruise, and yet signs keep popping up suggesting she might still be out there somewhere—alive. Now, here’s a curveball for you: despite never finding a body, she was officially declared dead back in 2010. Crazy, right? Most people guess she slipped overboard, but oddly enough, there’s zero proof of that. Instead, darker whispers swirl around kidnapping and human trafficking, amplified by a Netflix documentary that’s been stirring the pot for 15 years. The plot thickened in 2005 when her family got a chilling tip—a photo of a woman resembling Amy surfaced on a sex worker site linked to the Caribbean, sparking panic, hope, and a slew of forensic comparisons that are as unsettling as they are intriguing. So, was Amy really lost to the sea—or trapped in a nightmare far from shore? Let’s dive into the layers of this baffling case that refuses to fade away. LEARN MORE
Amy Bradley disappeared over 27 years ago in 1998, however signs have cropped up regularly since then pointing to the fact that she may still be alive.
This is despite the fact that, with no body found yet, she was declared dead in 2010.
Bradley’s disappearance while travelling on a Royal Caribbean cruise has spawned numerous theories, with many believing that she had been kidnapped and trafficked.
Whilst the initial reaction for many when they hear the case is to assume she had fallen overboard on the cruise ship, there has so far been no evidence that points towards this.
Discussion around what could have happened to her is at an all-time high for the last 15 years due to the release of a new Netflix documentary AMY BRADLEY IS MISSING.
A major breakthrough in the theory that she had been trafficked however came back in 2005 when Bradley’s family revealed that she had been ‘found’ on a sex worker’s website.
The photos had been sent into their tipline by email, and showed a woman that looks like Amy half naked.
Amy Bradley’s mother, Iva Bradley, spoke in the Netflix doc, saying: “Seeing the photos that’s a terrible thing… it’s a level of panic, all I can think is ‘is that my daughter?’”
Her brother Brad added that it was ‘unsettling’, and Iva admitted the family had all thought that it definitely could be Amy, pointing to the similarities in their nose and chin.

The FBI, who maintain a missing persons page for her despite the fact she was declared dead in 2010, have since posted simulations that show what she could look like now over 27 years on.
Erin Sheridan, an FBI agent linked to the case, spoke about how it was sent via a website that is used for prostitution in Venezuela and the Caribbean.
The ship Amy went missing on docked in Curaçao shortly after she went missing, and there have been reports of a woman matching her description in the Caribbean, though she has never been found.
Sheridan went on to explain the detailed tests the FBI did to compare the photos from the sex workers website to Amy, saying: “A forensic analyst looked at the photo and believe that that was Amy Bradley.”

After the discovery in 2005, the Bradley family went on Dr Phil where they explain the forensic tests that measure things that don’t change over time such as cheekbones and someone’s chin.
They point out that she is positioned in a way in which all the tattoos that Amy has would be hidden.
The Netflix doc also shows an interview with Judy Maurer, an eyewitness who claims to have seen Amy in Barbados and was watching the Dr Phil interview.
She specifically says: “I saw her.”
AMY BRADLEY IS MISSING is available to stream on Netflix now.
