The Reddit poster also shared another article from press coverage of the incident at the time claiming that the cruise ship from which she went missing was passing through a canal between 5:00am and 7.20am.
Whilst the article states the times were approximate, this makes it far harder to believe that her body would not have washed ashore.
One comment noted the bizarre difference in times, going on to say: “This is way different from the documentary???”
Another comment said: “Also, I don’t believe the documentary said the dad woke up and got them and brought them back to bed.
“Their timeline has switched up over the years, and not in a clarifying way, a confusing way.”

The original poster stated that a large number of original articles they found revealed he had last seen her sleeping in her room at 4.30, a full hour’s difference from the currently agreed timeline.
Whilst one comment noted that newspaper coverage of the event shouldn’t be taken as gospel, another documentary viewer replied saying: “For sure I just would think their timelines would be much fresher back then closer to when it actually happened.”
