The Surprising Truth Behind Low Male Libido That’s Leaving Women Furious

Ever wondered if there’s a secret formula behind a mom’s libido—or if sleep and snacks really hold the key to post-kid intimacy? Maddie Muhs, a Texan talent agent and mom-of-two, stirred quite the hornet’s nest by jokingly crunching the numbers on why some women’s sex drives take a nosedive after having kiddos. Her math: a recipe involving hours of sleep, actual meals eaten while sitting down, partner help, and the annoying interruptions from little hands—served with a dash of salty language. Unsurprisingly, lots of guys didn’t take too kindly to her cheeky ‘equation,’ sparking fiery debates online. But hey, after being run ragged by tiny humans all day, can you really blame her? It’s “mom libido 101” with a punchline you might relate to, whether you’re Team Maddie or Team “That’s no excuse.” Curious how the numbers stack up? LEARN MORE.

A lot of males have been left seriously miffed by this woman’s take on low libidos.

Maddie Muhs shared her thoughts on why a particular faction of females tend to have a lower sex drive, even going as far as to share a mathematical equation to support her theory.

However, a lot of blokes didn’t appreciate her tongue-in-cheek arithmetic – as a quick look in the comment section of her video will tell you.

The Texas-based talent agent was poking fun at the slump in sex which a lot of couples experience after becoming parents due to the demands that come with looking after little ones.

A lot of men and women will agree that after being run ragged all day by your adorable offspring, the last thing on your mind is a bit of nookie.

Maddie, who has two toddlers, explained there are multiple factors at play when it comes to determining whether she and her husband will find some alone time or not.

“Welcome to mom libido 101,” the content creator began in the now-viral clip.

“Here’s the basics of the formula – the amount she slept last night, plus how much food she’s eaten today – sitting down.

“Times the amount of help her partner gave her, divided by the annoying comments,” Maddie continued. “Minus the number of times she was touched by her children today.”

So, this is the calculation she came up with: (hours of sleep + number of real meals eaten while seated) x partner support ÷ number of annoying comments he made – number of times touched by children = mum’s libido.

Simple, right?

To make sure everyone was able to get their heads around her comical equation, Maddie even offered to run through an example for her nearly 50,000 Instagram followers.

“Let’s say mom got eight hours of sleep last night, ate three full meals, her partner did pick up and bath time – but he was really f**king annoying twice,” the mum-of-two said.

“Then, we have to subtract by the 1,000 times she was touched today. Does anyone know what the answer is?

“Not a f**king chance.”

You can check out her video here, but do beware there is some strong language:

Even her husband agrees with her working out – in fact, he later pointed out that she’d ‘actually missed a couple of variables’ – but he did warn her that sharing this equation with the world might ‘p**s off a lot of men’.

“And I did,” Maddie laughed, telling Today.com that she received quite a bit of backlash from a large number of blokes online.

One disgruntled fella wrote: “Don’t get married and have kids if you refuse to meet your husband’s needs. Definition of a trap right there. No love in your relationship.”

Another said: “Women using this as an excuse to not have sex with their husband but also doesn’t want their husband having sex with anyone else.”

And a third added: “A formula for divorce.”

On the other hand, women were right behind Maddie and described her formula as ‘perfect maths’ – and even some dads spoke out in support of her too.

“We gotta find a way to add in how long the husband takes to poop,” one social media user joked.

A second commented: “I have one little one, but when she is clingy, she is CLINGY and then here comes hubby wanting hugs and kisses and all the touches too…. Like can I please have my body back?!”

And a third chimed in: “Yeah, I became a stay at home dad. Safe to say intimacy became an afterthought. Haha. I understand now.”

Maddie explained that for women, there’s so much more to consider when it comes to libido in comparison to men.

She said: “Am I ovulating? Am I in my luteal phase? What part of my cycle am I in? That affects our drive. But male hormones are wired one way: It’s always sex, sex, sex.”

Maddie says she is ‘lucky’ to be with ‘someone who gets it’, but is well aware a lot of other gents don’t appreciate this stuff.
