UCLA Graduate Stuns Crowd by Unleashing AI Power on Stage—You Won’t Believe What Happened Next!
So here’s a thought: what happens when you mix a pricey university degree with the magic of ChatGPT — and then parade that AI-generated final project like it’s the crown jewel at your graduation? One bold UCLA grad took the plunge, flashing his ChatGPT-crafted masterpiece right there on stage. While his classmates went wild, the internet? Not so much. It turns out, many folks aren’t exactly throwing confetti for a diploma that screams “I outsourced my brain to a bot.” With universities scrambling to police AI cheats and society nervously eyeing a future where critical thinking might be the real dropout, this stunt raises a hefty question: is this the future, or just a spectacular way to blow your digital rep — and maybe your degree? Buckle up, this one’s a wild ride through the high-stakes world of AI, academia, and a little thing called common sense. LEARN MORE.

Going to university can be pretty darn expensive but earning that precious degree that you worked so hard for at the end makes it all feel worthwhile.
Well, not anymore. While educational establishments are doing their very best to crack down on the use of AI programmes such as ChatGPT, it seems as if some students are still able to slip through the net.
We’ve seen cases in the past where people have gotten away with using the technology for the odd essay or project, but now it seems as if some folks are using it for pretty much everything they possibly can.
Despite scientific studies unsurprisingly finding that using ChatGPT on a regular basis makes us dumber, due to it impacting our critical thinking, one university student thought it would be a fantastic idea to show off how he used AI for his final project at UCLA while he was at his graduation ceremony.
The video quickly went viral on Instagram, with many pointing out that the younger generation is ‘cooked’ because they seemingly don’t know how to think for themselves anymore.
While fellow students in the video went wild, it’s all fun and games until a doctor or engineer or architect graduates in the same way, and society falls apart because everyone has become so reliant on a technology that only a few years ago struggled to show off Will Smith eating spaghetti.
Fortunately, commenters seemed to be in agreement that going to university and seemingly not learning anything is actually not a path that should be celebrated.
One user posted: “Neck deep in debt only to get out with underdeveloped skills, nice one.”
Another added: “So many years, just to ruin the value of your diploma for the sake of some buzz on the social media.”
A third commented: “Not being able to achieve using your own mind is not a flex. We cooked chat this is the future.”

Others pointed out that the student has pretty much ruined his digital profile, and his hopes of getting a job in the future should surely be affected by this.
One wrote: “That’s scary. Professional jobs without the professionals.”
A second said: “Hopefully he has a job lined up! Imagine the recruiter seeing this after his first interview.”
Universities do have the power to revoke degrees in certain cases, so this lad might have just really put his foot in it. Let’s hope the moment of fame was worth it.
