“Unbelievable Physics: What Happens When You Defy Safety on a Rollercoaster Ride?”
Have you ever wondered what could possibly go wrong if you took a wild ride on a rollercoaster without those reassuring safety harnesses? Yep, it sounds like the plot of a horror flick, but the reality is even more fascinating—and a little terrifying. A gripping simulation has recently made waves on YouTube, and let me tell you, it’s not just a nail-biter but a real eye-opener about the importance of safety gear. Turns out, there’s an actual science behind why we’re strapped in while hurtling through loops and drops! The simulation, brought to life by the creative minds at Zack D. Films, offers insights into how high speeds and gravity interact in ways you might not expect. So, as you plan your next theme park adventure, you might want to reflect on whether that harness isn’t just a formality—it might just be your best friend! Ready for a deep dive into this wild ride? LEARN MORE.
A harrowing simulation has revealed what happens if you ride a rollercoaster without any safety equipment.
There’s a reason why you’re kept in a harness while riding attractions, not just for your peace of mind but for safety purposes too.
I know, shock.
But a simulation on YouTube has revealed what would really happen if you sat on a rollercoaster with nothing holding you in the cart.

The clip was created by simulation specialist Zack D. Films, who has gone viral in the past for videos such as the world’s worst torture method, what happens if you get sucked into a black hole and more.
In the video, it’s explained that you may think if the bar came loose while riding a rollercoaster, you’d fall out instantly.
But apparently, this is quite far from the truth.
That’s right, prepare for some science.
Gravity pulls everything to the ground, that’s a fact, but the YouTuber explains that this ‘probably wouldn’t happen’ in this scenario.
He goes on: “You see, as you’re being pulled into the loop (of a rollercoaster), gravity tries to pull you down towards the ground, but because of the speed you’re going, and the direction of the tracks, a special force actually pushes you further down, outweighing the pull of gravity and keeping you in your seat.”
So basically, as long as there’s a loop, you can expect to stay in your seat, regardless of a harness or bar – probably.
Please don’t go around trying to break free of harnesses while riding rollercoasters, though.
That won’t end well for anyone, we shouldn’t be having our own unintended euthanasia rollercoaster.
But for one of the first times on the channel, a lot of the users were relieved that the video didn’t unearth any fears.

Taking to the comments, one said: “Wow bro decided to choose peace for once after all the trauma and new fears he has caused,” while another added: “Finally, an animation that doesn’t scare us all,” which got over 109,000 likes.
A third pointed out: “You’d have a heart attack though when you and your body realise the only thing keeping you up is the speed of the ride,” and they may have a point.
A different user wrote: “‘Probably’ You can never feel 100 percent assured on this planet no more bruh”
It is the key word in all of this, so please remember to keep your hands and legs in the cart as all times. And keep your harness on.
