Unbelievable Transformation: What Happened After 200 Days of Training Just One Trap Muscle?
Ever wondered what happens when you decide to work out just one trapezius muscle for over 200 days straight? Say hello to “The Crooked Man,” the dude who flipped the whole “looksmaxxing” trend on its head by diving headfirst into “looks minimising” — yep, intentionally making himself look less symmetrical and, well, downright quirky. While most influencers are busy fine-tuning every angle of their face and frame, this guy’s been dedicated to beefing up one trap muscle to, frankly, ridiculous proportions, leaving the other side wondering what just happened. The transformation? Insane, eye-catching, and honestly a little baffling. But as much as people admire his relentless commitment (and maybe chuckle at the sight), medical pros are waving red flags about potential long-term damage from this unbalanced body quest. So, is he a visionary or just one trap away from disaster? Dive into the bizarre saga and judge for yourself. LEARN MORE
The lad who has been working out only one trapezius muscle for months passed the 200 day milestone a few weeks ago and showed off his progress.
In case you’ve not heard of this bloke, he goes by the name ‘The Crooked Man’ and said he’s doing this to achieve something called ‘looks minimising.’
It’s basically the opposite of the ‘looksmaxxing’ trend where content creators and influencers try to make themselves look as good as possible, so this guy is only working out one muscle and is showing everyone what that looks like.
The body transformation he’s gone through has been insane with one trap clearly out of proportion with the rest of his frame making it easy to guess which trap he’s been putting through its paces.
A few weeks back, he hit the 200 day marker and showed off just what a journey he’d been on.
To be fair to the guy, the rest of his body is in pretty good shape so he must be doing something right, but that one trap muscle is insanely large for the rest of him.
Plenty of people have admired his dedication to stick with training this one muscle in his body for weeks and months at a time, while others have expressed some concern over what it might be doing to his health.
He’s also taken to trying to exercise just one leg on the opposite side of his body to his overdeveloped trap in an attempt to balance things out, but it’s really all about that trapezius muscle.
While he passed day 200 with impressive results, he might be in a place where he’s satisfied with the way it looks as in a recent video he showed his ‘final product.’
His goal of getting far fewer DMs from women might have been achieved, as back when he started he joked that he doesn’t ‘even have time to get through them all’ and was getting into ‘looks minimising’ to solve this problem.

However, despite him pursuing this goal of training one trap to titanic proportions, there are some concerns over what this might do to his health.
A doctor told LADbible that if The Crooked Man’s approach could result in ‘some short-term positives‘, they were far outweighed by the risks in the long run.
Dr Suhail Hussain explained that the guy was developing a ‘clear musculoskeletal imbalance’ and that over-training one group of muscles could result in ‘spinal misalignment, joint strain, compensatory injuries in surrounding muscles and even chronic pain.’
“The body is designed for symmetry and balance, so distorting that through disproportionate hypertrophy risks long-term orthopaedic problems,” the doctor said.
Here’s hoping The Crooked Man isn’t suffering any of those symptoms and he’s not done himself serious damage in his attempt to go viral.
