Four people have been arrested in the UK after projecting giant images of Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein onto Windsor Castle.

The president, who arrived in London on Tuesday night (16 September) for a second state visit, will meet with King Charles III at the Castle this morning.

Trump’s last state visit in 2019 was certainly eventful as a giant blimp of him as a baby appeared in London, with numerous protests occurring across the country. This time, protest organisers have plans to be ‘even bigger’ than last year, as police prepared for the 79-year-old’s visit.

As Trump and the First Lady, Melania, landed in the UK, images of the former businessman and convicted sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto Windsor Castle for the world to see.

Trump and Epstein’s relationship has been a point of contention for the past few months, especially as he has been repeatedly called to release the Epstein files in their entirety.

There’s also the alleged birthday note, which Democratic politicians recently released, though Trump has vehemently denied that it came from him, branding it as a ‘fake thing’.

As well as images of Trump and Epstein, the 79-year-old’s mugshot from his indictment in 2023 was also included.

The political campaign group Led By Donkeys shared a picture of the stunt to Instagram, where they wrote: “Hey Donald, welcome to Windsor Castle.”

Since then, Thames Valley police have confirmed that four people have been arrested on suspicion of malicious communication.

Trump was not at Windsor Castle at the time.

Chief Superintendent Felicity Parker said: “We take any unauthorised activity around Windsor Castle extremely seriously.

“Our officers responded swiftly to stop the projection, and four people have been arrested.

“We are conducting a thorough investigation with our partners into the circumstances surrounding this incident and will provide further updates when we are in a position to do so.”

The police added that the four suspects remain in custody.

According to The Independent, the President and the First Lady will be staying overnight at Winfield House, the official residence of the US Ambassador in Regent’s Park.

Then, on Wednesday (17 September), he will visit Windsor Castle for a state banquet.

However, Trump has made it clear that he won’t be facing the public on this particular visit and will instead focus on other matters, such as discussions regarding trade with the UK.

He said: “Basically, I’m there also on trade. They want to see if they can refine the trade deal a little bit. We made a deal, and it’s a great deal. And I’m into helping them.

“They’d like to see if they could get a little bit better deal, so we’ll talk to them.”
