Luckily for you, dear TV viewer, a marvellously reviewed show that boasts a 96 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes for the first season and the perfect 100 for the second has come to Netflix.
This is The Capture, which started as a 2019 thriller series starring Holliday Grainger, Callum Turner, Ben Miles, Cavan Clerkin, Paul Ritter, Ralph Ineson and Ron Perlman.
The first season follows a former British soldier (Turner, who got a BAFTA nomination for his performance) who was acquitted of committing a war crime and is now accused of kidnapping and murdering his barrister.
Evidence seems to point towards him having done it, but DI Rachel Carey (Grainger) is on the case and has to delve into whether or not the evidence can be believed.

Millions of Brits watched the show when it was on the BBC and it earned itself a second season that was shown in 2022. Now, The Capture has found its way onto Netflix where a whole new audience might discover it.
Anyone familiar with shows made in the UK will know there’s only a few episodes per season so you can rattle through the drama at a fair pace, and if you end up becoming a fan of the show then there’s even more good news for you as a third season is reportedly in the works.
