In 1971, a man known as D.B. Cooper hijacked a plane, demanded a $200,000 ransom, and parachuted into the wilderness. Despite decades of investigation, neither Cooper nor the money was ever found.

Over 800 people have been considered suspects in the case, yet none have ever panned out. The case has become the stuff of legend, with amateur sleuths and the FBI alike still chasing clues.

Years later, their killer remains at large, with questions about law enforcement’s handling of the case still lingering.
