Piper Perabo played the aspiring songwriter Violet Sanford, who moves from New Jersey to the big apple, but ends up working in the rowdy bar and film namesake, Coyote Ugly.
Perabo has since gone on to land starring roles in other films and TV shows, including the film series Cheaper by the Dozen, Looper (2012), and most recently, a recurring role in the TV series Yellowstone.
Adam Garcia as Kevin O’Donnell

Australian actor Adam Garcia won the role of Kevin via his stage acting career as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever, where he impressed casting director Arlene Phillips to give him the role in Coyote Ugly. He plays the love interest of Violet Sanford.
Today, Garcia has enjoyed a robust career, with roles in major TV shows and movies such as Doctor Who, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Kangaroo Jack.
John Goodman as Bill Sanford

John Goodman plays the concerned yet caring Bill Sanford, Violet’s dad who just wants the best for her, despite his misgivings about her line of work.
Perhaps one of the most recognizable faces in the movie, Goodman is known for his role as patriarch Dan Conner in Roseanne. Since then he has appeared in big movies such as 10 Cloverfield Lane, Argo, and Atomic Blonde just to name a few.
Maria Bello as Lil Lovell

Lil Lovell is the bold and rugged owner of the Coyote Ugly bar, played by the talented Maria Bello. Lil is based on the real-life owner of the Coyote Ugly saloon in New York City.

Banks was already a household name by the time she took on the role, thanks to her modeling career and appearances in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and her own reality show America’s Next Top Model. Her most recent venture has been as the host of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Bridget Moynahan as Rachel

Another member of the Coyote Ugly trio, Rachel, is on probation, but this doesn’t stop her from defending herself from the bar’s more lecherous guests. Bridget Moynahan plays her in her feature-film debut.
After Coyote Ugly, Moynahan appeared in films Serendipity, I, Robot, and the John Wick series. She has had a recurring role in the series Blue Bloods since 2010.
