Woman’s Bizarre Countdown to the Rapture Sparks Outrage and Curiosity Worldwide
So, here we are again—another round in the never-ending game of “Will the world actually end this time?” A woman’s already gone full apocalypse chic, prepping her home like it’s the hottest ticket in town while the rest of us try to figure out what to do with all the money from selling cars and quitting jobs. I mean, if you can’t take your cash with you, are you really winning? The biblical rapture, where the lucky ‘holy rollers’ shoot up to meet the Big Guy upstairs and the rest of us get to stick around for the messy sequel of judgement and chaos, is stealing the spotlight once more. Is this just another blip in the long list of “wrong predictions,” or could there be a genuine reason to dust off those Bibles and pray harder than ever? One thing’s for sure—this woman’s turning her place into a refuge for the ‘left-behinds,’ complete with instructions that make you wonder if the antichrist is RSVPing to the party. So, what happens if the date passes like all those before it? More time to spread love, she says. Clever move! Or is it just wishful thinking disguised as divine preparation? Either way, we’re hooked—waiting to see if the sky really does split open or if this is just another chapter in humanity’s favorite pastime: end-of-days hype. LEARN MORE.
A woman is getting her home ready for the end of the world as people believe their judgement cometh, and that right soon.
People predicting the end of days is nothing new, and thus far they’ve all turned out to be wrong, but even though predicting the world’s end has never worked out before, maybe this time they’re right.
Right now, there are people who are quitting their jobs and selling their cars because they expect the biblical ‘rapture’ to occur any day now, though quite what they’d be doing with the money from selling off assets is unclear as you can’t exactly take it with you.
One woman has even said she’s selling her home in anticipation of the moment that the truly devout Christians are raptured up to see God, while the rest of us whose faith was not sufficient or even present are left down here in a world of s**t.
That’s the rapture in a nutshell, the ‘good’ Christians are on the way up, while the rest of us have to endure years of judgement and punishment before the second coming of Jesus where he and his worshippers come back.

The idea that this is going to happen in the next couple of days (23 and 24 September) has really taken off in certain circles, and one woman has shown how she’s prepping her home for the end of the world.
TikToker Melissa Johnston appears to be expecting that she’ll be one of the fortunate chosen who gets raptured up into the skies for a meeting with Him upstairs, since she’s getting her house ready for those who don’t make it.
In one of her videos, she showed piles of Bibles she bought and added instructions to pray for forgiveness, while in another she said she was turning it into a ‘home for whoever is here after the rapture’.
Among her other instructions are guides on the events she believes will happen after the rapture, including the coming of the antichrist and the breaking of the seals.
She’s added visual descriptions for those who will be left behind of ‘what they can expect’ the end of the world to look like.
One of the big questions hanging over rapture preppers is what they’ll do if they turn out to be as wrong as every other bunch of people who were convinced the world was about to end.
Answering that very question from a comment, Melissa said this wasn’t the first time she had been ‘waiting for the rapture to take place’, and if it turns out not to come tomorrow, then she reckons that means ‘more time to spread the love and compassion’ she believes she is trying to bring to people.
In another comment, she tried to turn it back on others as she asked them ‘what if a billion people vanish’ and the rapture turned out to be real.
I suppose we’ll find out in the next couple of days.
