A 16-year-old girl has been left fighting for her life after a horror bike crash.
Zuzanna Bohojlo was rushed to hospital where she has since been placed in a coma after the crash involving a car while going to get ice cream in Poland.
It was reported that the teenager from Rotherham was struck by a car while riding her bicycle in Jozefow, Warsaw, on 9 August.
In a heartbreaking update, her family have said they are remaining at her bedside and ‘praying for the day she opens her eyes’.
It was reported that the teenager was visiting Poland to visit her mother, with appeals now being made for witnesses after the trip turned into tragedy. The Star reported she had gone out for ice cream.

“If she wakes, she will face a long and difficult road to recovery”
“Our hearts are broken as we share the devastating news that our beautiful, innocent 16-year-old Zuzanna has been involved in a horrific car accident and is currently in hospital in a coma, fighting for her life,” an update on a family GoFundMe read.

“Zuzanna is a much-loved daughter, a precious child, and a bright young girl with her whole life ahead of her. In an instant, everything changed.
“Her injuries are life-threatening, and her family is living through every parent’s worst nightmare.
“Her mother and loved ones are devastated, frightened and completely overwhelmed as they wait beside her, praying and hoping for the day Zuzanna will open her eyes and begin her journey back to them.
“Right now, their only priority is being by Zuzanna’s side and giving her every possible chance to survive and recover.”
The post continued: “If she wakes, the journey will not end there. Zuzanna is likely to face a long and difficult road of recovery, including extensive rehabilitation, therapy and ongoing care.”
“Please pray for her”
In a post on Facebook, her sister Aleksandra described Zuzanna as ‘bubbly, outgoing, kind and full of life’, adding that she will ‘not give up’ on her.

“She has a huge heart, but she’s also one of the strongest people you could ever meet. Zuzanna knows how to stand up for herself, and right now we need that strength more than ever,” she wrote.
“If you believe in prayer, please pray for her. If you believe in positive energy, send it her way. If you know her, remind her just how many people are waiting for her.
“Zuzanna, we love you. We’re here. We’re waiting for you. And we’re not giving up on you.”
