Mysterious Triad of ‘Orb’ UFOs Spotted in Unbelievable US Military Footage—What Are They Hiding?
Ever wonder what it’s like to catch three mysterious lights slicing through the night sky in perfect sync—like some cosmic dance troupe rehearsing over the Persian Gulf? Well, strap in . This weirdly mesmerizing footage, shot back in 2012 by a US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper drone, just hit the public eye thanks to the US Department of War (yeah, you read that right—War, not Defence). These lights aren’t just floating aimlessly; they hold a tight triangular formation, with one light even pulling a cheeky little drop-back move, as if messing with the others. Now, is this a squadron of extraterrestrial pranksters, clever military tech playing hide and seek, or just a jaw-dropping optical oddity? The official label? UAP—Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena—because UFO might sound too sci-fi for the times. Dive into this puzzle of illuminated intrigue, where the stakes are just as high as your curiosity.
Bizarre footage appears to show three strange lights in the sky maintaining a consistent ‘formation’.
The video was released by the US Department of War, formerly the Department of Defence, and sees the lights moving over the Persian Gulf.
Although it has only just been released, the footage was originally taken back on August 23, 2012, and was shot by an MQ-9 Reaper drone operated by the US Air Force.
The drone captured the minute-long video just after 6pm local time, while using infrared sensors.
UFO sightings continue to be a source of mystery, with many people believing them to be evidence of ‘alien life‘ visiting Earth.
In this case, what’s interesting about the lights was the way they appeared to hold their ‘formation’, maintaining a clear triangle shape between the three points of light.

This continued except for one moment when one of the lights seemed to drop back slightly.
The footage was analyzed in detail on the WEAPONIZED podcast, which is hosted by Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp.
In an episode from January 30, they looked at the strange footage.
Corbell suggested that one light was flying in a ‘playful’ way, saying: “These objects appear to be aware and intelligent of one another, and they’re keeping equidistant as they fly.
“But all of a sudden you see one make this playful little move as if it drops back in the formation, and then comes forward again.”
Debating the credibility of the footage, Knapp suggested that its military source makes it more reliable.
“This is a military recorded sensor-generated image of what looks like a triangular UFO, like one big triangular craft with dots on each of the three ends. And clearly, you watch this, and that’s not what it is,” said Knapp.

Corbell explained that the footage was desingated ‘UAP’, which is the official Air Force designation that stands for ‘Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena’, and not actually the classic ‘UFO’.
“Your government has labeled this UAP, and you were never supposed to see this footage,” Corbell claimed.
Analyzing the movement, he said: “You see a break in that formation, and a pretty distinct and interesting movement.
“Our department of defence, or department of war now, said that this is a formation.”
Knapp added: “That’s clearly not one craft with three points of light on the corners.”
The video was reportedly part of an archive of material which had been designated as ‘non human’ but not something like an animal or other regular encounter.
