Tyler Lucas emerged victorious from Beast Games Season 2 earlier this week, but he still hasn’t touched his eye-watering prize money.
The former US Air Force aviator bagged the $5.1 million prize in Wednesday’s (25 February) finale, triumphing over 199 other competitors in the game show.
Tyler had previously competed on The Titan Games, where he fell short, unlike his recent victory which was aired on Prime Video for all to see.
While it was reported in season one that almost half of the prize fund would be sliced due to taxes, people knew the deal going into the long-awaited second season of the reality competition.
Many were curious if Tyler would face any problems, or if he got the money from MrBeast at all, but the dad-of-two shut rumours down with a recent post.

Speaking to Gold Derby after his win, he said: “I’m a competitor, the ultimate goal for me was to make it to the end. I was willing to take my chances — no bribes, taking my fair share — to move on and hopefully get the chance to compete for the ultimate prize.”
He took to X to confirm that the money had hit his bank account, posting a screenshot of the bank transfer.
“$5,000,000 just hit my account!! Extremely thankful and blessed to be in this position. @beastgames @MrBeast changed my family and I’s life forever. Incredibly thankful!” he wrote in the caption.
However, the winner is yet to dip into the cash, telling Dexerto: “Actually, I have not bought anything with the money yet.”
Apparently, he’s planning to invest it properly so he can prepare for his children’s future.
As season one winner Jeff Randall Allen saw his $10 million winnings cut by taxes, Tyler can expect the same as in the US, winning from a TV show or competition don’t count as a gift and must be taxed.
While it may be around $2 million, that’s still a heap-load of cash, as Tyler explained: “I’m just trying to come up with the best plan to move forward with investing my money,
“And once I develop good strategies, then I’ll look to put those into effect and determine what my family and I need.” When those factors are all settled, Tyler said there will be “vacations and stuff like that later down the road.”

He added: “I’m kind of playing it safe right now just to make the best decisions with the money, I definitely want to make sure that I do what I can to set my kids up for life.”
Beast Games advertises itself as the reality show with ‘the largest single cash prize in reality television history’, and for season one, it was reported that MrBeast spent £11,950,000 million to build ‘Beast City’, in Toronto, Canada, where he filmed the show.
