Are Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Secretly Mirroring the Beckhams? Fans Spot Uncanny Parallels
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if your family drama met haute couture, just ask Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz . Is imitation really the sincerest form of flattery, or does it start to get a little weird when you’re channeling your parents’ early 2000s glamour at Paris Fashion Week—while they’re just a few blocks away, hosting their own fashion-soaked soirée in an ex-prison? I find myself a bit torn between giggling at the “Posh and Becks cosplay” memes swirling online and feeling a bit of second-hand nostalgia whiplash . Watching Brooklyn and Nicola step out in all-black, facing accusations of copying Victoria’s look from two decades past, I have to ask: is twinning with your parents the new black, or just a fashion faux pas waiting to go viral? And behind those flashes and headlines, there’s the raw, sticky gum of family tension, snide comments, and people picking sides—because nothing says high society quite like a public feud wrapped in designer clothes and Instagram stories . Are we witnessing bold reinvention, or just another episode in the world’s longest running family brand? There are no easy answers, and I can’t look away . LEARN MORE
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been accused of taking too much inspiration from his famous parents s fans comment on their recent Paris trip.
In the Conciergerie, which was a former prison where historically misunderstood Marie Antoinette was held, models paraded past famous faces wearing Victoria Beckham’s latest line.
There, David Beckham and the couple’s children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were seen in videos posted online, as Victoria showed off her Spring and Summer 2027 collection, including wide-leg trousers and sheer dresses.
However, the Beckham’s eldest, Brooklyn, didn’t appear to be there, despite also being seen at Paris Fashion Week.
Brooklyn was snapped in the front row of the Balenciaga show on Thursday (1 October) with wife Nicola Peltz.
Then, that evening, the pair were seen attending a high-profile MESSIKA event in Paris, as the rest of Brooklyn’s family were having photos of themselves circulating mingling with Victoria’s guest list.
Despite the two not being in attendance at his mum’s show, people online were quick to accuse them of attempting to copy Victoria and David’s Posh and Becks days, which was an iconic time for the couple in the media.
Social media users pointed to Brooklyn and Nicola’s style as being similar to his parents, and more.
In clips posted to X, Brooklyn and Nicola can be seen at the MESSIKA event wearing all-black.
Someone commented online of what they think is similarities between the Peltz-Beckham’s and Beckham parents: “I think they are trying to be as iconic as his mum and dad were once before.”
Another asked: “anyone else see a couple cosplaying as his parents? the headband, chain and shades, clinging to each other, her leather look croptop.”
Someone else quipped: “Inspired by his parents that’s so cool.”
A user posted: “Nicola Peltz’s Balenciaga look is an eerie copy of Victoria Beckham’s hairstyle to similar dress in Paris. Brooklyn Beckham looks like he is wearing old, poorly ironed clothes; he looks absolutely pathetic. Balenciaga’s fashion style has gone to crap. Most boring!!”

But not everyone could see the similarities.
One wrote in their defence: “It’s not all about looks. Peltz Beckham are fab, utter class. Beckham parents are manufactured by her. Why would you compete with your son? It’s gross.”
“Nicola is sooo Pretty,” gushed a user.
“Nah I’m for this kid, breaking away from your family to be happy can be hard as f***, bro,” said another.
This sighting of the two families comes after Brooklyn made his bombshell claims in January this year about alleged ‘controlling’ behaviour from his parents.
He wrote online: “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
His parents deny his claims.
