The Celebrity Traitors has made its very welcome return to our screens with an absolute stormer of a first episode.

The first helping of this year’s series, saw Richard E. Grant and Love Island host Maya Jama chosen as the Traitors.

And the news was so exciting to Grant that he couldn’t help but blurt it out to a crowd of Faithfuls almost immediately.

The first episode ended up on a bit of a cliffhanger where it wasn’t clear whether comedian James Acaster or journalist Amol Rajan would be selected as the final Traitor – although there’s already some solid evidence we have our answer.
